I live in a 55+ community where we have to pay for lawn service. I was in my home, I heard noise and went to check what caused the noise. On the backside of my home the vinyl siding and skirting were damaged. I then called the lawn service and explained to them the situation. I was told they would send somebody out to do repairs. The vinyl siding and molding was used. They had s**** holes in them. They never came out to finish the job there were still parts missing. The paint he used for the siding is no where near the color of my home. He painted the siding after he put it on the house and proceeded to get paint all over my other siding. I asked who his business was insured with because on their truck it says license and insured. He continued to tell me that he would rather just pay cash and not turn it into the insurance company. I told him I had no idea how much it would cost to do repairs. He told me to go find somebody to write an estimate. I cannot find anybody so I called to ask him again who he is insured with. He would not answer me and will not take any of my calls! He told me that I just was out for money. Thats not the case! I just want my home back to where it was before. The job is not complete theres still another piece of skirting they need to replace plus the parts they put on the home do not match the rest of the home.
