We had an extremely disappointing experience with Action Construction Group and desire to warn other homeowners, developers or commercial property owners about their poor customer service and dishonest, unethical business practices. In the late Spring/early Summer of 2021, I called Action Construction to ask if they would build a guest home adjacent to our Palm Beach County residence. We took our time to begin the project, but Action Construction representatives (Kristen and Charlotte) contacted us via email, phone calls or both about once a month in pursuit of our business. For example, on July 21st, 2021, Kristen closed her email communication with, "We look forward to working with you and we hope to earn your business." Next, we agreed to meet Anthony and Alex on the morning of September 23rd, 2021. They both seemed nice, polite and professional. They answered our questions, and we all shook hands and agreed on Action Construction Group to complete our guest home. We began working with their draftsman on the plans, and our final plans were sealed, stamped and delivered to us January 14th, 2022 at a cost of $3500. We were excited about getting the site ready, and building to begin, however, on January 24th Anthony emailed me, and said they would not be able to build our guest home. A far cry from his email communication on September 29th, 2021 stating, "You will certainly have a fantastic super, as well as, tradesman working on your new home. We all take pride in our work and what we build so, our motto is NOT the 'just another job' mind set." We never were demanding of time frames, and have never complained to Action Construction about anything. Lastly, we just want others to know, based upon our experience with Action Construction, they do not keep their word, their handshakes and promises mean nothing. In our opinion, Anthony and Alex are unethical and have no honor. Buyer beware, and get it in writing ASAP.
