My experience with The Credit Pros has been disappointing, to say the least. I scheduled a couple of appointments with them, only to have them all canceled before the meeting even took place and reschedule on their website again. This lack of reliability was frustrating, especially considering I was hoping to address important financial matters.When I finally managed to connect with a credit professional, I was advised to contact the credit bureaus directly regarding discrepancies on my credit report. However, upon doing so, I was informed by the credit bureaus that they cannot take action based solely on letters from The Credit Prosthey require direct communication from me to proceed.Furthermore, communication was severely lacking. Despite attempting to reach out to my assigned credit professional multiple times, I never received a callback. This level of disregard for client communication is simply unacceptable.When I finally decided to cancel my service, the process was equally frustrating. Upon calling, I was told I would be transferred, only to be put on hold indefinitely. This kind of unprofessional handling of customer service concerns left a lasting negative impression.Overall, my brief encounter with The Credit Pros has shown me that they are not the right fit for my needs. Their inability to keep appointments, lack of responsiveness, and poor customer service have led me to seek assistance elsewhere. RUN FAST as you can !!I contacted this company through an ad for cheap housing. I never saw the first home. After getting all my info they turned me over to someone to give me credit help. Finally he told me he was gonna help me with my credit. I asked how much it was gonna cost & when he told me my son snatched my phone & hung up. They then automatically signed me up for this monthly service. I did not ask for nor could I afford. The email they sent showed only a physical address. No number to call & their email addy doesnt accept emails. I finally found some info online & chatted to cancel this service. I didnt want my son to know so I didnt call. Got a great gal named ****. Who said she got it canceled. Then I get an email telling me Ive been given 15 days free, after which the full service fee would be charged. I did not ask for nor can I afford. I do not want to deal with any company that auto signs me up for anything as I told them the first time I canceled. So I look em up again since the email again has no contact info included. This time I call & am told to just ignore the email. That I am canceled. So well see. I hope its over. Sincerely, ***** PS I only gave it a one star rating cause I had too.Review from Dan V

I asked them to send a good will deletion to 2 business that were settled. They sent 1 letter to the wrong company. Those were the only 2 delinquent items on my report. Waiting for a reimbursement. Triple check your disputes and good will letters. They can and will get it wrongReview from chris j

If I could give this company negative 0 stars I would. The letters they send out are so pre-school I had to call and ask who actually wrote them. They would send letters like " I'm aggravated remove this account" I was like you've got to be kidding me. Anytime you get a so called credit specialist which is a false title because no of them are competent in credit repair, but no one is American which tells me they are outsourcing their work. Avoid this service.. they will make it extremely difficult to cancel the service. No matter how many times I told them to cancel they would try offer a discount or next month free and ask a bunch of questions trying to avoid canceling.. I finally had to say il get a lawyer involved for them to say they canceled my subscription it was that bad.. if they didn't cancel I will *** them for sure ?? ?? would never recommend this service to anyone please avoidThe Credit Pros Response

I'm being threatened to pay over 400 dollars for service I don't use by the credit pros, I cancelled the service long ago because they over drafted my bank account, they're also stating that my debt be forgiven if I rejoin, I'm not rejoining themThe Credit Pros Response

As soon as I gave **** Patetefa my info to access my credit report our call mysteriously ended. I called him back straight back and got his voicemail so i left a message and haven't heard from him sense. Guess my credit wasn't good enough for him to steal, which is good for me but bad for someone who has good credit. I will definitely take this issue further.The Credit Pros Response

They lied about giving a 25k down payment ***** to get me to enroll very deceptive and exclusive access to home listings which would have cost another 50 per month. Dont believe anything they say. Any positive reviews are fake reviewsThe Credit Pros Response

We spoke to this customer on 5/28/2024 and after full explanation of the process, educated her again with the importance of credit repair and client decided to stay in the program. Can we have this message reviewed since we got an agreement with the client.

Called me on a **************** ********* Day). Would not hang up after requesting they do so. He told me its for my benefit and he would not. After hanging up, they called me back multiple times. I asked to be placed on do-not-call-list and he informed me they do not do that. I did not engage in any business dealings and they were beyond pushy & irritating. Im confident if the BBB listened to the recordings of all calls this business would receive an F.The Credit Pros Response
