On 4/29/2022, I had frameless glass doors installed in my master bathroom by TOTALLY GLASS, ***********************************************************************************. ************** ). The cost of the glass doors and hardware was $1180 plus $180 for glass coating and $ 40 tax. ( $1400 ). On 9/6/2022 the glass door to the shower exploded and sent pieces of glass all over the floor and shower stall. I notified the owner of Totally Glass, ******** and told him of the problem. He came to my home on 9/8/2022 and measured the doors, he told me that the manufacturer does not warranty the glass for breaking/exploding but he would only charge me his cost for the doors and no labor. He could r-use the hardware. I pointed out that the handles were damaged and he would get new ones. Also the stationary panel was damaged by the flying glass and I told him that I wanted it replaced also. He offered to get a piece of plastic to cover the edge and I told him NO, I want the panel replaced. On 9/9 ******** called me and told me the doors would cost $550 with the new handles. I said OK and on 9/15/his men installed the door only and not the stationary panel. I called ******** and he failed to order it thinking I would use the plastic. He told me the price to replace that panel was another $500. I expressed my displeasure with his price and insisted that he get it mush cheaper since he was charging me the FULL PRICE again. We argued and he told me to get someone else to replace my panel and hung up. He not only charged me labor again but also full retail price for the glass. I want my money refunded for the $550 I paid for the replacement door and a credit for the damaged panel.
