I was a patient with Cora Physical Therapy account#******** from Dec 22 through approx. April 23. I had my intake and supplied all my paperwork including my insurances. At that time I was told that we were all set and there were no charges. At multiple times I stopped at the desk to get printouts for my Aflac and asked if I had any outstanding bills and each and every time i was told no, that everything was covered. I stopped going in April because we were moving to *****. I never thought about it again till months later when I was sent a very large bill, if I remember correctly over a thousand dollars, and was told my secondary insurance didn't cover me. I immediately called and asked why I wasn't told immediately and they said sometimes it takes months, nonsense. So a bit later I got another bill that was less, somewhere around $300 and I wanted to know why they said I owed nothing in the beginning. I received no answer and now got ANOTHER BILL for $581. They seem to make up amounts as they go and lie to their clients while they are there. There should be no other billing other then the $9700 they did get from insurance.Initial Complaint

6/17/22 and 6/22/22. I was over charged for the service and would like my money refunded. I called their billing **** on 12/13/22 and was told it would take ***** weeks for the refund. I have yet to receive it and I have called again and they keep giving me excusesBusiness response

I was treated by **** PT for two separate issues: Lumbar and Shoulder. My Shoulder discharge information that was provided to myself, and my physician is inaccurate and false. Upon noticing the error, I called the facility to discuss this and was told they would not correct the information. Furthermore, this information was sent to my doctor, my insurance company and will be going to my ********************* I want this information corrected or amended and resent with the proper and accurate details. I also want an apology for the rude customer service I received when trying to explain their error. The document states I didn't complete the 8 visits required, when in fact I did and have the sign in sheets/recorded visit logs (which I obtained from the medical records **** of the ************ It also states I missed 5 appointments, however, when I actually rescheduled 5 appts. The therapist that signed off on this wasn't even my therapist for the last remaining month while she was out of town or not at the facility. They are refusing to correct this falsified document and will not cooperate. The insurance company only allows 8 visits for physical therapy-per affected area.
