On June 30, 2023 I signed a contract with Eco Tree Experts. I agreed to pay Eco $3,000 to trim trees at my home, ******************************************. Included in the contract is a condition that the debris will be removed within 72 hours. (please see photos)*** performed the contracted services on July 5-7 and left a large pile branches on the parkway near the curb in front of my home. I was told on July 7 that it would be hauled away "today or tomorrow." I paid Eco $3,000 via check and Eco cashed the check on July 11.It is now July 15 and the debris remains in front of my home. I have called, texted and emailed repeatedly asking when the debris would be removed. *** ghosted me until my next-door neighbor called on July 13 and complained that the debris blocked her view of traffic when she pulled out of her driveway. Later that day the owner took my call and said the debris pile would be gone "today or tomorrow." It is July 15 and the debris pile remains and is now blocking the flow of stormwater to the sewers, causing the street to flood during heavy rains. Today I called, emailed and texted and have received no response. If the pile is not removed soon, the city will fine me. All I want is for them to remove the debris pile.Business response

We have been in regular contact with ********* and resolved the issue. We recently started using a third-party service to remove the debris after our work is complete and we have had some issues. We have communicated that to ********* throughout the ordeal.
I have also reached out to her again today to follow up and make sure she is happy. It is unfortunate that third-party services reflect poorly on us, given it is somewhat outside our full control.

I am rejecting this response because:it is not true. They were not in continuous contact with me. In fact, they did not ************* or respond to emails for several days. It wasnt until my neighbor called and complained that they took my calls. Even then, although they explained the issue with a third party contractor, they make two promises that my debris would be picked up by Friday July 14, and then again between 6-7 am on Monday, July 17. Then, after I filed a complaint with the BBB, they offered me $100 to take it down.

I am rejecting this response because:Eco Tree Experts did come and remove the large debris but left my yard looking like this. The pile of leaves they left behind in the street block the flow of stormwater to the sewer. During heavy rains they block the flow of stormwater to the sewer and flood the skirt of my neighbor's driveway and the street.

I agreed with my neighbor to have a tree removed from my yard. He agreed to have the tree removed at this cost. I also had some work done which I agreed to pay for. As a result of them working, the tree company entered my property and caused landscaping damages to my yard and including collateral damages to another neighbors property. I'm getting threatening calls from employees including the supervisor **** who indicates they will be dumping debris in my yard. I paid for a portion of the work and would like a resolution to settle the matter.Business response

Initially, there were two separate contracts to complete tree work for two neighbors (*********** and his neighbor). The agreed upon contracts were fulfilled according to the crew and payment being received. While working on completing the work for both contracts there seemed to have been a discrepancy and dispute amongst 3 of the neighbors resulting in some modifications of the contract. This may have caused confusion amongst the neighbors and our crew. After completing the job for ***************** we had assumed it was completed to his satisfaction as we did not hear from him until we received the complaint for Better Business Bureau. Upon receiving this information from BBB we immediately reached out to ************ to rectify the matter and ensure him we would come back and complete the job to his satisfaction.Customer response
