My husband and I purchased a vehicle and at the time of purchase 1/11/2021 we were told that vehicle was under warranty. We took the vehicle to Hyundai 8/24/2021 because there was a sound coming from the engine and the vehicle wouldn't go over 20 MPH. Hyundai did a diagnostic test on the vehicle was told us that the engine was about to go and the cost to replace the engine was over $9000. We inform them that the vehicle was under warranty and they let us know that we received misleading information because as for their policy is vehicle is not covered through warranty. We then went to trade the vehicle in and was told we couldn't trade it in because the vehicle was consider a total loss an we will not be able to do the trade . Car Solutions never informed us that the vehicle was consider a total. We reported this information back to Car Solutions and was told there is nothing they can do but to put us in touch with a person at our expense to replace the engine.

We repeat that we are extremely sorry to hear about your engine problems, and even more sorry that you feel mislead as a customer, because this has never been in our interest.

You purchased this vehicle with a complimentary 30 days / 1,000 miles limited warranty by Car Solutions LLC on engine and transmission that was previously carefully explained to you and signed by you. This limited warranty had expired on 02/10/2021. Besides, you had driven the vehicle more than 9,000 miles before the engine problem occurred and was reported to us; the warranty had expired after 1,000 miles.

The title of this vehicle is a clean title without any brands, and that is exactly how the vehicle was sold and titled.

Our sales staff might have informed you that the company Hyundai is providing a limited lifetime warranty coverage for certain engine repairs on certain Hyundai vehicle models for original and subsequent owners, based on Hyundai's own criteria and decision. Therefore, and with the intention to help you, we suggested to check with a Hyundai Dealer if this specific engine might be covered by this type of warranty. Car Solutions also offered you help to find options for a more economic shop for engine replacements.

We are a Used Car Dealership and we are selling vehicles, but not producing them. Hyundai has recalls for millions of vehicles and if you are unsatisfied with the Hyundai warranty that for any reason excludes your vehicle you should file a review or complaint against Hyundai, but not against Car Solutions. We feel that we, at Car Solutions LLC, have done everything possible to help you in this situation.

We are extremely sorry that all this happens to you, because problems like theseare not what we are known for. As you can see from our other reviews, we pride ourselves in providing honest and clear information and an extra ordinary customer service to all our customers.
