Spoke with customer today and we agreed to resolve his concerns. This is the second project for a different home that we have contacted with this customer so he is a previous satisfied customer.
The issue was the different color glass that was chosen for his doors compared to his windows. At customers request, we coordinated having the different color glass samples delivered to customers residence for him to review and decide on desired option. Customer said he will remove any complaints that he filed immediately after the glass color situation is resolved and his windows and doors are ordered next week.

Horribly ran company. I called on July 12.Refused to provide me a quote for over $100,000 of windows and 3 sets of sliders and 3 single patio doors. Completely wasted my time taking my info from the start. I tried to explain to the phone agent that the owner (my mother) cannot meet with every single sub contractor and that the designer will be choosing the window style. At first I thought they were just clueless but then I realized worthless! He refused to provide me any service and said he has to meet the owner before moving forward. I have gotten over 5 window quotes from other companys with no issues. I suggest this business changes their practices unless they never want to do any sort of commercial job or high end property where the owner is not available to meet with there salesman. I even asked for the manager and just got I am the manager. I explained Im fully aware that the owner has to sign all permits etc. (this is not the first time I have managed construction projects for my mother who is the princible of the propertys) They didnt care. Oh well cant beg to hire people.

We sincerely apologize for the experience you had when calling to schedule an appointment for our window specialist to meet with your designer to get a quote for your mother's property.

Like most all companies in our industry, Max ********************** provides free consultations and quotes to property owners, however we will make exceptions to meet with property managers, renters, under certain circumstances.

If we can be of any service to you, we will schedule an appointment with your designer for a quote on your mother's home without your mother being present.

I placed an order with this company one year and 3 weeks ago for windows. I provided a $22,000 deposit. After months of going back and forth with them over BS delays I'm meeting with my lawyer tomorrow and have to file a civil lawsuit to get my deposit back. Management never calls back and always wants to do the texting and emailing. I am 60 years old and do not like that, I want to hear a voice. Updates are never provided. Now I have to pay a lawyer to get my $22,000 back. This has been very stressful. If I failed to submit payment after the job is done then Im the bad guy right? Ive been in WPB for over 30 years and have never dealt with this kind of c***

I contracted with Max Guard Hurricane Windows to replace the doors and windows in my home for the amount of $105,000 two years ago . I have paid all but $2500. The crew they had do the work on my house did a horrible job of installation of all the doors. The windows are ok. I have large sliders. I have come to find out that because of COVID there never was an actual inspection of the premises by the building department. I have always maintained that no inspector came to inspect my windows the day the property was supposed to have passed inspection. It would have never passed. Due to a previous complaint I made with BBB a few months ago, the company did replace two entrance doors that were damaged and not installed correctly. I had to live for 15months not being able to lock my house and and another 5 months when they replaced the door not being able to unlock the door to my bath area. My front double doors still have the lock installed wrong but recently was repaired to have both doors functional after more than two years not being able to open more than one door. The big problem that remains is my sliding glass doors were not fitted or installed properly. After the " inspection" which never happened, I had lizards, frogs and bugs entering from the tops and bottoms of the doors. It is clear to see that there is a/c air escaping where critters can enter. My electric bill immediately went up between $150-200 a month after installation.I fear a hurricane could actually blow them off the tracks. Some effort has been made for adjustments since my first complaint but they are still totally unacceptable for new doors that cost thousands of dollars each. I have written personal email messages and a letter to ***** the owner, have asked him to inspect them himself, and he ignores my request and demands final payment. I want the doors reinstalled correctly so I can have a sealed closure and easy function opening and closing them. This issue existed before inspections.

We want to express our sincere apologies to our customer for her continued and newly discovered issues. We keep extensive and accurate records of every service request, and site visits, as well as emails and phones with very customer.
We are confident that the service tickets and emails from our customer indicate that weve addressed every warranty service claim and have made every effort to satisfy our customer. However, as new service requests  arise from ************, we will provide the repairs necessary to meet the terms and conditions of both her contract and warranty coverage.

With regards to her claims about the local building department, unfortunately, we have no way to substantiate her position that her local building department inspector didnt inspect the products or installation.

Again, we will contact ************ (now that she has returned from vacation) and schedule a site visit and inspection from the owner himself to see what can be done to resolve the situation.

1/19/22 contracted to have 8 himpact windows purchased and installed to protect me my family and home against the next hurricane season. Start date 5/19/22 finish 5/21/22 because manufacturers material shortages. Date moved to week of may 30th. Date moved to week of 6/6/22 I visited max ********************** hurricane company 7/6/22 I was told they is a material shortage at the Alabama manufacturing facility and we dont have a new installment date for you Sorry sorry every time the windows cost plus installation is $18,600 I put a 50% cash deposit of $9,300I asked for max ********************** to return my deposit so I can explore another company they refuse claiming we have a contract . Though that true it was a good faith contract understanding possible delays but its going on 8 months were in 2 months of the hurricane season and I feel vulnerable and not protected from hurricane for me and my family and investment. Im also feeling that a company collecting down payment from other customers without performing the work will eventually collapse and Im going to become a part of a class action I believe I waited patiently long enough and brought up my attention and concerns to this company and will only be satisfied if I get my $9,300. Back I would like the mater resolve in a timely manner because the next few months are coming fast I have not done anything wrong here and dont feel I have to pay for someone else.trouble they are short $9300. It. Shouldnt be me . The law is I pay for something and I get something in return Ive got Nothing I I dont know what more to add but hopefully we can resolve this problem thank you Im retired law enforcement marine corpsveterans and always able to get in contact with

We are sincerely sorry and apologetic that many our customers, including ************** have been delayed due to industry-wide material shortages and labor challenges, however, the factories have started to improve their productivity and fulfillment of orders. Unfortunately, his windows are in production so as per the terms of the contract, his deposit has been applied to the cost of his windows. In fact, ****************** order is scheduled to be delivered before the end of the month and we have him on a "VIP Priority Installation" so hopefully ************** will be patient just a short while longer when they factory fulfills his custom-made window order.
