    October 23 - I decided to reserve a hotel room because I live in a manufactured home in a 55+ community and a hurricane is headed this way. I call to speak with the hotel directly to review policies regarding modification or possible cancellation. I decide to book the room through Wyndham rewards and do si. October 24- I call the hotel again, just to verify hotel policies and am once again reassured that I can change my reservation as needed because these storms can vary while developing. October 26 - I receive a call from the hotel to verify my reservation & do so. Again I am told that I have until 6:00pm the days of a reservation to either modify or cancel without charges. Later that same day, I see the storm will be arriving on Wednesday, so I call on Monday to modify the reservation and am told by "Brandon" that I cannot do so. I request to speak with the manager and instead I am asked to be placed on hold. Wen Brandon returns to the phone, she tells me that the manager will not be on site until Wednesday, but has noted my reservation stating modifications can be made without a problem going forward. I am also told I have been sent an email confirmation with the change on my reservation. I received no email, so once again I call the property and "Brandon" says she did sent it and maybe its a technical glitch. October 27 - 9:00pm I receive a call from "Brandon" who asks if I will be keeping the reservation that I had in fact modified with her on the day prior. She has no recall of any of it. Concerned, I called the property back to make certain I would still have the room reserved Sept 28 - Oct 2. "David" answered who tells me he manages that property. I express my concerns over what had happened, but it became increasingly apparent he was too busy to even care. In absolute frustration, I cancel the room entirely. Now I am without a hotel reservation with a hurricane coming and though apologetic, the reality is that they could not have cared less.

    Stayed here for one night, was going to stay for two, but property is uninhabitable, we had to leave. Floors are so dirty that walking barefoot on the floors for less than two hours or so, turn our feet black. Not dirty, but black. The molding installed in the room was not complete, leaving no less than three ends that are cut at a 45 degree angle, resulting in a knife edge that can slice a foot open, or a baby's head should they fall against it. Old furniture, refrigerators, air conditioners, and just plain junk is piled in the walkways. The breakfast area is infested with vermin. There is exposed wiring and broken electrical conduit through the walkways, with some wiring just draped over broken conduit. An old sailboat sits at one corner of the back of the property and an old camper trailer sits at the other rear corner; neither appear to be properly registered. We tried talking to owner, he did not return our call.
