We entered into an agreement with Elite Building ***** ************************** to build a house at ******************************** in Oct 2021. Elite Building *** agreed to build a house for a price of $ *******. The original completion date that was promised was July 2022. The details are in the agreement that can be shared on request. I have not enclosed the agreement or any other document since it has personally identifiable information.We paid a 20% deposit ($ ******/-) and we paid this on escrow through a title company.The builder has not completed the building as of date. We were informed of delays multiple times, but we have not heard any updates for the last one year and the builder is unreachable despite multiple attempts by us as well as the broker for the transaction. Our understanding is that Elite was going to complete the project through an arrangement with another builder, but no progress has been made in the last 12 months. We made this agreement through a broker - *************** ******* of Built 2 Rent ***. I had a home built in 2020. I closed on 11/23/2020. I was given a year warranty for a punch list for repairs. It took nearly 8 months for someone to follow up with my emails for said repairs.(9/1/2021) I did speak with the owner concerning this issue and was given the run around. Some small repairs were done but I was notified today that they will no longer service the rest of my repairs because my contract was up on 10/28/2021. My punch list hasn't been completed and the owner refuses to help me concerning this. I've only had a few things completed by sub contractors but am owed other repairs that they are refusing to handle now. They only just sent contractors out 2 months ago to my home and I've had to wait for said repairs so other repairs can continue. My home was not painted on the inside, the paint on the outside of my home is peeling due to the fact they painted over dirt. I was shorted sod for my yard and electrical repairs to be done. The owner has refused and his warranty secretary is refusing to assist me.
