On 4/19/2023 ProSolar Group finally received final approval for my residential solar project from the ***************. My dispute arises from the months of requesting my original signed permits authorized by the city. As part of the project I paid for the permits and therefore I am *********** my original approved permits. Prosolar has emailed me a set of permits that they originally submitted to the city however none of documents have final signed approvals and therefore they do not hold any legal validity. I addition, ProSolar had many failed inspections and many revisions needed to be corrected and resubmitted to the city. Therefore, I need to receive the final approvals with all the changes and revisions that were made to the plans and permits. ProSolar is in possession of my original signed documents and is responsible for providing them at the end of the project. I have been reaching out to them for several months and they recently answered that the documents have been misplaced. I have spoken with the sales manager and others in charge and they promised to reach out to the cities involved and acquire a set of certified permits. In addition, simultaneously, I had a ************** with them at my business location and as it turned out they have not provided original permits for that project as well and again they claim that those permits were also lost. I have a very difficult time believing that such important documents are that easily misplaced. In conclusion 3 weeks ago they promised to provide certified copies from each city but they are now ghosting me and no longer replying with any updates nor have they provided any such copies. This is unbecoming an lacks professional courtesy to treat a customers who has spent so much money on not one but two projects with them. I am writing this complaint in hopes that someone will reach out to me and finally provide my signed or certified permitted documents.

Your request for the original permit cards for both your home solar project in ******* & your business in ***********.  Unfortunately we do not have the original permit cards, once we confirm with the  "Authority Having Jurisdiction"  (***)  / city the inspections have passed and the permits are closed, the paper documents from the job sites are discarded.
With today's online portals,  most entity's no longer accept the paper permit card as proof the permit has closed or inspections have been completed. For example, FPL requires proof directly from the  ***'s portal, they will not accept the paper permit card.
The project manager of the *********** installation remembers the entire package possibly being left in a letter-sized envelope on a table in the entrance of the back door (smaller door), is it possible it is still there?
****** has responded to your emails and text messages to the best of his ability, providing you with a copy of the plans , permit cards (without signatures) and proof from the *** that all inspections have been finalized and the permits are closed.
I have reached out to both the *************** and *********** asking for a certificate of completion for both jobs and was advised that neither *** will provide one for solar projects but both have provided proof  that all inspections have passed and the permit is closed.

I signed a contract with ProSolar early in the year made my initial down payment for solar. Did my research and was initially very happy with the company I chose. In July permits were issued and on August 4th I was scheduled to have the electrician come do the required electrical work to support the panels. On the 4th the electrician chose to move his vehicle out of my driveway without speaking to me and drove across my lawn to park on the grass. When he did he drove across my septic tank and drain field lines. I immediately called someone to inspect the drain field and was told that it was compromised because of the weight of the vehicle on the soft sand. It had been inspected less than a year before and was in good working order.I contacted the solar company immediately and was told there would be no issues they would take care of it They agreed I should have it inspected and I provided them with a reports as a few days later. Pro solar agreed to pay for the inspection and I was told any damages or replacement of grass or lines would be taken care of. Until the company saw the amount it was going to cost to redo the drain field. I was eventually provided with information for the electric companies insurance company who I contacted and filed a claim with and have provided all of the information provided to ProSolar regarding the prior inspection, the current inspection and evaluation of my system. Since I provided that information I have been completely ghosted by the company. No one responds to my emails I'm being told my permits are expiring by the county and fines maybe issued for violations and unclosed permits. I need help I need this job finished I need whatever fines with the county resolved for failing to meet their deadlines and I need the septic issue taken care of. I have tried repeatedly to deal with this at the lowest possible level but I know starting next year septic rules change and the project will be significantly more expensive.
