Since the installation of driveway pavers in 2020, the garage flooded with every rain. On three separate occasions from 2021 to 2022 I had West Orange Pavers come to assess the situation. (photos, texts,, emails can verify my attempts) Each time it was recommended that I install a drain. So after major flooding in the garage from Ian, I paid West Orange Pavers an additional $1200 to install this drain. Nicole was proof that the recommendation was ineffective and incorrect. West Orange Pavers would only refund me the parts (no labor) for a total of $386.40 (he kept the remaining $853.60 for a "fix" that possibly could not work) Another company was brought in to assess the situation. While West Orange insisted the driveway just "settled", the new company found and fixed the incorrect installation of the original base for the pavers. The foundation was not prepared or graded properly, causing all water to flow INTO my garage rather than away. I then paid an additional $3443.53 to the second company to rectify the situation. I now finally have NO WATER in my garage. I have contacted West Orange Pavers several times with proof (photos and description) requesting a refund of $855.40 for the labor of a useless drain which could never work do to the poor driveway install and $3443.50 for the cost of taking up the driveway pavers, regrading the base and re-installing the pavers. I have asked West Orange for $4298.93 again with absolutely no response. Their response has only been its beyond the 12 month warranty...It is normal driveway settling...it's from driving the car in and out of the garage. They not once have taken any responsibility for a poor and incorrect installation.Business response

The issues with the driveway it came after the (12 months warranty) as stated on the contract that the client signed. On the first email date October 29,2022 the warranty was expired.
the project was completed on May 5th. 2020. There is no warranty after (1) Year... as per contract signed by Client.

I am rejecting this response because: I began complaining about the problem in June 2021. I had contacted the owner on three separate occasions from June 2021 (with no resolve but to add more expense with a drain) then May of 2022 (again only recommending a drain) then after Ian in September 2021 where I relented and put in the drain which DID NOT solve any of the issues.
