    We contracted with Diamond Vacation Homes (DVH) to rent a 12-bedroom property for a week (May 21-28, 2022) for our family in Reunion, FL to coincide with a trip to ***********. The rental cost was $11,000. On a positive note, the property was very clean, inside and out. The issues: The issues: the oven never worked. None of the TV's in the bedrooms would connect to the DirecTV cable. A leak developed in the ceiling in the living room such that we needed to keep a pan under it. There was a canister light fixture missing in one of the bathroom showers, just a wire hanging down. The gas range top burners would at times light and at other times just leaked gas when turned on. The toaster oven/air fryer appliance seemed to be missing the food rack so was pretty much unusable; our son burned a finger and the oven mitt when trying to use it. The outdoor grill didn't work. The icemaker in the refrigerator didn't work and the other icemaker appliance didn't work. We called our property manager, Lilia, who responded by saying she would have someone there 1st thing in the morning. No one came. After that she did not answer our calls or respond to repeated voicemails. We then sent an email with our issues to which we got a response that they did in fact send someone out who unfortunately could not replace the oven at this short notice, who said the leak was caused by water on the floor in the Star Wars shower but we never used that shower bc it was the one with the hanging wire! The other issues were not addressed, and we never got a further response to our response to their email.

    I took my family to ****** and stayed at one of their properties in *********. Underwhelmed is the word I would use because the place needed a handyman. Numerous things needed repair: two towel hook hangers in separate bathrooms were falling off their walls, one of the refrigerator door handles was loose and about to fall off, paint in the theater room was missing from a prior repair, the projector in the theater room displayed its image upside down, also in the theater room one of the seats back was completely broke causing one of my kids to nearly injure themselves.Then there was the trash; we had to use a small bin in front to put the garbage in each night for pick up and then the next day. The bin was too small, allowing for only one trash bag, and some animals kept removing the lid and tearing the bag. Since the bag was torn, the trash wouldnt get picked up.The night we arrived, I tried contacting the after-hours contact and left a voicemail, but no one returned my calls. I was eventually able to get a hold of someone on the day. They offered to send someone by, but the thought of having a handyman banging around while we tried to salvage what was left of our vacation wasnt ideal, so I turned that option down. They then offered to turn on the pool heat, but that did not work either, and it wouldnt have mattered because it rained the next day.All of these issues should have been addressed BEFORE they rented this property. We spent a lot of money to stay here and all of these issues should have been rectified before they rented their property to us.
