On June 7, 2024 We had work done by Polk Air Conditioning....The work consisted of a new capacitor and surge protector plus labor...paid tech ****** and received no copy of invoice....we asked the tech if there was a warranty on the surge protector he replied " yes the office will send you a copy" ...I paid with a credit card... I waited 5 days and on June 12, 2024 I sent an email to ****** about the warranty on surge protector and wanted a copy of the invoice...no reply after another 5 days I contacted Polk Air and ****** answered the phone...I explained what I needed and she emailed me the warranty and invoice...upon looking at the invoice of ****** I noticed that we were not given the 10% discount to us as a condition of our service agreement. I asked that the ***** be returned to our credit card and she said she couldn't do that...We could leave it on our account or she could mail us a check....I asked that a check be mailed to which she replied they only cut checks on Friday which meant the check would be cut on June 21, 2024...as of June 27, I have not received a check..I called the office the morning of June 27 and spoke to ***** explained to her that I had not received the check and asked for ****** who wasn't in the office yet...told ************ wanted her to call me and as of yet nothing from Polk Air...I want my refund for being over charged....They avoid taking calls and obviously are lying about the check...if the check was mailed on June 21 if should have been in ******** no longer than Tuesday the ************************** and the business is less than 10 miles....the service techs need to issue a copy of the invoice upon payment...not leave it to the office....they ignore the service contract never scheduling the service calls twice a year..the customer has to remember to call... I have uploaded all written communication...all I want is what I am due...

Ever since the a/c and heater unit were installed in April of this year I have had to call the company, to send a technician out three times because no air flowing through to my living room area. Each time someone came out they had to drop the temperature down to 68 to feel any air and this last time the air was not flowing at all. I was told if I want them to do anything that would push the air through to that room it would cost me another 3100 dollars on top of the 6200 dollars we have just paid out in April. Since this unit has been installed my electric bill has gone up from $275 dollars to $425 dollars just to get it cool in my house. I must put my temperature down between 70 to 72 to be comfortable and my house. Now we must use fans and the A/C unit to keep the temperature down between 75 to 78. This is unacceptable and very disappointing that the company will not stand by their work and the warrant and are trying to take advantage of the customer to get more money that we cannot afford to pay. I was assured that when I pay the 6200 the duct work was going to get done but that did not happen either that got recanted. As a customer if I had known they were not going to honor their words and do an excellent job or make things right when they needed to, I would have never trusted them to put my a/c and heater unit in.
