Purchased a used 1997 Jeep Wrangler sport from this dealership, Talked with both owners at the time of sales, The husband even owned a Jeep, They informed me that it needed brakes and was a n older jeep. I agreed and Took the jeep home, In less than 24hrs i had major problems with the Jeep being stable on the road. I had it checked and was told the rear Axle gears were shot, and Brake cylinders were leaking. I was very upset and contacted one of the owners at *********** I explained everything and they stated they were sorry to hear that but it was as is. And they would try and help. I understand it was as is, but this was very Deceiving and Dangerous to sell a vehicle with a bad axle and brakes. I spent over $1600.00 on the parts and $500 to repair it.I sent pictures of the new axles (i had to buy2 for the 4wheel drive). to them and they have totally ignored me.Business response

This is lsthar ******, MGRM of DU & lAuto Sales LLC. DU & lAuto
Sales are Friendly People that work hard to please our customers. ************** writes a ******************** Letter stating that
we are disrespectable by stating that DU & I Auto Sales gave False Statements and knowingly Sold a Safety
Hazard Product that is Unsafe. DU & I Auto Sales denies such False Statements and denies knowingly Selling
a Safety Hazard.
DU & lAuto Sales had given ************** an Hour to Test Drive this 1997 Jeep that is 27 Years Old and Sold it
to him in AS IS Condition". DU & lAuto Sales had Originally Advertised this 1997 Jeep Wrangler with 132,000
miles for $8,100 Dollars (See Attached Advertisement). Other similar 1997 Jeep Wranglers currently sell
between $8,300 Dollars at the low end, or a 1997 Wrangler with ******* miles for $9,999, or a 1997 Jeep
Wrangler with ******* miles for $12,999 Dollars. (See three attached 1997 Jeep Wrangler for Sale
Advertisements)
****************** Letter to the BBB states that he wants to Settle with DU & lAuto Sales for $500 Dollars verbally.
DU &Auto Sales had originally discounted $1,200 Dollars from **************** Sales Price to $6,900 Dollars due
to his concerns at time of sale. DU & I Auto Sales does agree to give ************** an additional $500 with a
Signed Settlement which brings the Price of **************** 1997 Wrangler down to $6,400 Dollas which is
$1,900 Less than the lowest current advertised market price of the above 1997 Jeep Wranglers for Sale.
****************** first Letter to the BBB states he spent $1,650 Dollars without ever contacting DU & lAuto Sales
about his Jeeps Rear End Repairs. Now, ****************** second BBB Letter dated June 18, 2024 Misstates that
he had spent $3,000 in repairs. ************** seems to change his story from the first to the second BBB letter.
DU & I Auto Sales agrees to Settle with ************* for $500 based on ************** signing a Settlement
Agreement". Either the BBB or DU & lAuto Sales can provide a Settlement Agreement for ************** to Sign
a Release stating that DU & lAuto Sales Payment of $500 to ********************* is in Full Settlement ofAll *****
Roman's Matters regarding his 1997 Jeep Wrangler". If ************* decides not to Sign a BBB or DU & I
Settlement Agreement, and insists on doing a Verbal Agreement, then DU & lAuto Sales will Not Settle as
Verbal Agreements are not Legally Honored by the BBB and DU & I Auto Sales.
DU & I Auto Sales herein asks the BBB and ************** to please respond in writing by Certified Mail Return
Receipt within the next Ten Days to see if this Matter can be settled with a signed SettlementAgreement along
with a Cashiers Check Made of $500 made Payable to *********************. DU & lAuto Sales Thanks All for their
Cooperation in this Matter.
