We received a postcard in the mail for Aquatech to build seawalls. Don't be fooled by postcards thinking they mean professional and quality work. Jeff (the owner) with Aquatech came out in early November 2021. Came off as very enthusiastic and knew what he was talking about. We decide to work with him shortly after and were told "confident you'll be impressed when we're done". Began the seawall adventure on November 23, 2021. Little did we know so much was going to go wrong. A lot to explain, but long story short, the seawall did not get finished within the week to two weeks we were told it would be done. December 8th we stopped hearing from Jeff. He charged us over 13K. After that, it was very difficult to get ahold of him and get him back out to complete the job that was not in fact completed and still is not to this day that I post. The wall is not straight at all (seen in pictures) and he has now repainted it after trying to add patches of cement to help straighten the wall and painted it the wrong color (in picture 1 you can see the original color on the back edge). So now we are in March 2022 and still have a jagged wall that is painted the wrong color. Super unprofessional and we were very understanding/patient with what he has going on. Unfortunately, it has come to this, and would not recommend anyone working with this company. We need the job finished correctly.

I live on a lakefront property and had to get some work done to prevent soil erosion. I got Aqua-Tech's flyer in the mail and called them for a quote regarding the work. Jeff P***** (who owns Aqua-Tech) visited my house for an appraisal on Aug 23rd 2021, and on Sept 1st I told him my HOA would need to approve things before work could start, which he understood. He quoted $12,500 with a deposit of $2,500, and I paid the deposit on Sept 26, 2021 (also note that he insisted the check to be made out his personal name and not the company's name). I agreed to his quote because he was installing a Geo-Cel to prevent erosion, which he claimed did not need a permit from the County (so I thought only HOA needed to approve). However, on Sept 2*th I found out that any work done on the lakeshore required the HOA to apply for a permit from the Orange County EPD. Jeff claimed he had talked to someone at the EPD and that he had given the go-ahead, but I later found out this was not true. On Oct 4th, my HOA said they would not apply for the permit. I asked Jeff P***** for my deposit back as he had not done any work and no work could be done without a permit from the County EPD. He texted me on November 1st saying he managed to get a refund for all the material he claimed to have bought for my project and that he would mail me the check with the refund amount. I have not received any check and he has stopped replying to my messages since then. I would like my $2500 refunded and I advise everyone to not do work with this man. Also, it turns out he had been previously operating under a different company name called "Aqua Marines" and changed the name to Aqua Tech in 2020. In 2012 a news article came out on WFTV * about how he had scammed another lady wanting to get lakeshore work done *************************************************************************************************
