  Good Communication, Great Pricing and Installation was on time and they were very nice. However, I'm rating this one Star because we had the septic drained in 7/2018 prior to a new drainfield install on 9/2018. They gave us a three year warranty but in 4/2020 the septic was full and needed to be pumped. In 12/2020 it needed to be pumped again. In May 2021, we contacted Greens and they said the drainfield was full of water from the rainy season. He didn't want to come out and check the system. In 3/2022 it was full again and we had to pump out the septic. Recently in 11/2022 we needed to pump it again. We have been advised by multiple companies we should not have to pump out our tank this much for a new drainfield. After each pump out - it takes awhile to fill up again and some may drain out but the system is certainly flawed. I have sent several emails recently and left messages for the owner ******* Buhot. So in Summary - they are a good sales company but if you have any problems down the road - don't expect your drainfield to last or get repaired. They won't even come out and check it out.

  We are very surprised to receive the complaint as we already went to **************** property. His system is severely saturated due to overuse of water. We proposed a strategy for him to recover the system with no guaranty it would work. Saturation is caused by overuse of water and no contractor can be responsible for misuse of the system as it is beyond our control. We already responded to **************** after our visit to his property and he seemed happy we went to investigate the problem.We think you received this complaint before we went to visit him.

  Nice mee*ing you again wi*h your spouse las* wednesday. We came *o iden*ify any problems you repor*ed. The firs* *hing we did was *o inves*iga*e *he proper*y , *he sewage flow, *he soil condi*ion,*he sa*ura*ion crea*ed by any overuse of wa*er or leaks.We dug up *he sep*ic *ank and a sec*ion of *he *op of *he drain field. As soon as we opened *he *ank on *he ou*le* side, *he wa*er came ou* above *he plug access. Once we exposed *he sec*ion of *he drain field, *he wa*er came ou* above *he drain field *oo. Bo*h even*s conclude *ha* *he sys*em is severely sa*ura*ed.We also found *he back of *he drain field *o be very compac*ed. We believe some*hing heavy migh* have driven over *he drain field, we will inves*iga*e *ha* a bi* more la*er on. Sa*ura*ion comes from a s*rong over use of wa*er *ha* exceeds *he performance of *he sys*em ins*alled. Bu* sa*ura*ion can also come from a leaking *oile* or mismanagemen* of *he sys*em like excessive laundry usage(Check if you have any leaks from a running *oile* or fauce*). The smell and look of *he overflowed wa*er indica*es *ha* *he organic con*en* is no* dominan* bu* spoil wa*er from laundry, showers, or a leak are *he main cause of *he failure wi*h high wa*er usage and sa*ura*ion. The ins*alled drain field was for a 4 bedroom house buil* in ************************************************* 2018 and *he orange coun*y public record.The drain field is 667 sq fee*. From our las* conversa*ion, you men*ioned you have 6 bedrooms.A 6 bedrooms house would require a 867 sq fee* drain field for a daily flow of 520 gallons maximum. In our opinion, we believe *ha* your flow is superior *o 520 gallons per day anyway. The level of sa*ura*ion in *he drain field is ex*reme !!! If you had a wa*er me*er ins*alled on your well wa*er line, i* would be easier *o ge* an accura*e volume of flow,check *he his*oric and properly calcula*e how much drain field would accommoda*e *he proper*y real flow.If you reduce *he flow below *he 400 gallons per day, le* *he drain field res* and dry and keep *he reduc*ion below 350 gallons per day af*er *he recovery, we believe *he sys*em can be saved. We presen*ed you wi*h a s*ra*egy like ge**ing *he *ank pumped jus* before your cruise *rip,*emporarily rerou*e *he laundry line ou* of *he sys*em( i showed your spouse how *o ge* i* done), and reduce *o a minimum or *o zero *he flow un*il you come back on *he 8*h of January, may be *he sys*em could recover bu* i* is no* guaran*y as *he drain field seems *o be sa*ura*ed for a while .We will send *****, our field supervisor *o moni*or *he drain field and *he *ank once you come back.Tha* said, if your flow comes back above 350 gallons per day , *he field will ge* sa*ura*ed again. Due *o *he easemen* loca*ion, *he se* back required from *he well, i* will be very difficul* *o ge* more drain field bu* we *hink 800 sq fee* could fi* as long as *he fow do no* go over 500 gallons per day.
