On 2/19/24 I went for a Sclerotherapy Treatment Session as I had done before for various years with their Nurse Practitioner. Post 3 weeks of mentioned treatment, I began to notice that the injection sites were not dissapearing, to the contrary they were very red and not fading as they should have. On the fourth week, one of the injection sites became very swollen and "opened up". I immediately called CMC Wellness and related to them my concerns. At that time, they recommended for me to take antibiotics and they also recommended a topical antibiotic cream to apply to the site.Presently, I continue to endure multiple debridments, tremendous physical pain as this is a Venous Ulcer that was caused by the deep injection penetration performed by their Nurse Practitioner. I requested a full refund of the visit, in orer to receive a small financial compensation to cover my medical expenses and they have ignored my pleas, even though I have sent them multiple photos of the Venous Ulcer and other physical damages of my Left Leg. Thet have looked the other way and have not taken responsibility for their actions. I am presently under the care of th ******************** at Prisma Health in **********, ** and they are fully aware of this but continue to ignore the situation. I have been under significant mental stress, not to mention the physical pain that I continue to endure on a daily basis. All I asked for was the full refund of that visit on 2-19-24, to help me with all the expenses I have encountered. This has placed significant stress on my mental well being but CMC WELLNESS has IGNORED my pleas of financial assistance during this trying time for me. The amount I was asking for is $970.00, which merely covers my out-of pocket expenses.
