II paid ***************** October 20 2023 $1850 in advance for a job he was going to do on my swimming pool. He was supposed to start the job on November 11. He didn't want to do the job because the weather was bad and the job was postponed for 14 days. When he was about to start, he put it off and blamed the weather. I researched the weather in ******* and it was fine and confronted him about it. Then he wouldn't do the job which was ok for me. He will not pay me back the money. I found the company Blueski Pools on Thumbtack. Soon after he canceled the job, he removed the company from Thumbtack. Now he doesn't answer my email or phoneInitial Complaint

I entered into a contract with ***************************** *****, owner of Blueski Pools LLC on 9/5/23 for pool resurfacing and tile work. The total for the work was $10,25.95 fully paid up front. The start date was set for 9/18/23. ******* never showed up to work on the pool until 10/25/23. At this time, he half drained the pool without properly winterizing the equipment and stated he would be back the next day. ******* never showed back up. I have repeatedly asked him to come back and do the work, he has provided every excuse to not come back out. I asked him for a full refund several times. He has not provided a refund. I was able to get a partial refund by filing with AMEX as a fraud charge. I am still owed $6,918.22. I have attempted to resolve this with him over the past several months. He also left equipment and supplies at my house which are taking up space. He has now blocked me from contacting him. If I do not get a refund I will be filing a lawsuit.Customer response

I have filed in small claims to receive a refund. I have also been informed by Square that there is no money in the business account. The business moved the money out of the account so it could not be refunded. This is a scam company.
