I am writing this complaint with significant frustration and annoyance regarding my experience with ***** ****** Beach Resort. I have been attempting to reach someone at the resort for months now but have received no response. I have had a timeshare ownership with ***** ****** for over 30 years and have paid off all my dues. However, after making my intention clear to cancel my timeshare ownership, I have received little to no communication from the resort. It seems they are merely trying to drag things out to get me to pay more this year's maintenance fees even though I have been trying to reach them well before that. I am deeply disappointed with the lack of customer service and communication from ***** ****** Beach Resort. I feel as though I am being ignored and disregarded as a customer, which is unacceptable given my long-standing relationship with the resort. I implore BBB to assist us in opening up a channel of communication with ***** ****** and to help resolve this matter in a fair and amicable manner. I believe a timely and sincere response from the resort will help to ease the frustration and disappointment I am currently feeling. Thank you for your assistance in this matter.Initial Complaint

On 22MAY2019 I entered an agreement with RVI to rent the bonus weeks I receive at my timeshare from Interval International and paid their $1796 fee. They misrepresented verbally that within 90 days I would have recouped that money and would be able to even pay my maintenance fee by continuing to rent out these additional weeks via their company. I never even got a rental offer within 90 days. In late 2019 I got some offers, but the dates I had open with Interval never matched. I did get an offer I had date availability for, but was told the person backed out. A few months later we were all on lockdown so I didn't expect to be getting any offers. Then a few months ago I contacted RVI again to ask when I would start receiving offers, and that I understood due to Covid I had not received any since late 2019. They told me my account was always active despite the shutdown and that I would receive one soon. I never did, and can never get any responses to my further emails or phone calls.
