I filed a complaint about defective tires, we bought at this store. Unfortunately, the BBB sent my complaint to the wrong business. I would like to get this resolved. the complaint went to First **************** and I would like the BBB to straighten this out. I want an apology to go to this company and also, remove the negative report off their record. As far as ****************'s negative report, I want to gladly acknowledge that Good Year did send us a check for only one of the tires that were defective. In closing, I will make sure that if I ever make a complaint, I will wait a few months before filing. Thank you for correcting this error.

This is also a ******** store. I have found that over the years it's the best place to have auto (non-warrantee work of course) work performed. I have oil changes and other things done there (switched this morning from Brembo brake pads to ceramic pads that have way less dust) and have been delighted with all their work and such a friendly and informative staff.Pure Auto Centers LLC Response

***** is a lying *****. My son's truck was towed to Pure Auto because of engine problems. My son was told by ***** that the engine could not be repaired and needs replacement then quoted $6000. Later ***** offered to buy the truck for $600 to which my son said he'd think about it. After talking to me, my son decided not to sell the truck and to have it towed to another garage for a second opinion. ***** refused to give back the truck key saying that he'd already bought an engine for it. We had to call the Nassau ********************** to get the key back. This criminal tried to steal my sons truck! He saw somebody he could take advantage of and attempted to rip him off!Pure Auto Centers LLC Response

The son told us he was going to scrap the truck and ***** offered him $600. The son accepted this offer and told ***** he would bring the title and collect the money. ***** told him he would be ordering the engine and incur shipping charges. 4 days later the mother showed up requesting the truck. ***** tried to explain that the shipping charges had already been incurred and if the truck was not sold they would be responsible. Her son admitted to selling the vehicle but, said he changed his mind. The mother began to scream and make a seen. ***** decided to accept the loss of the shipping if they removed the truck immediately. I have no idea what she is talking about with the police.
