    On January 31, 2023 I went to Aspen Dental's Yulee office for a dental consultation and examination. They provided me a breakdown of the estimated costs of four appointments plus the consultation. Their estimated cost was $2025.00. They offered me a payment plan with Care Credit that i accepted and charged this account ********* out the door. My next appointment was February 16, 2023. In the door my balance due was ******** however Care Credit only allowed them to charge ******* and I was told I had a remaining balance of ******* due at my next visit. I returned to the office February 28 and was told I did not carry a balance. My other two appointments were March 14 and March 21. All insurance claims were processed by March 24. Cigna had negotiated prices and also provided a discount for all but one of my visits, so the amount I owed the office was much lower than their initial estimated cost with insurance. On March 30, I contacted their Yulee office to inquire about the discrepancies and their reimbursement process. However, I was told by this office that i would not be receiving any reimbursement as i had been billed correctly. I send an email, as requested by the associate I was on the phone with, to [email protected] of the EOBs sent to me by Cigna. However, she maintained I was billed correctly and insisted I call my insurance to have them tell me my maximum. I contacted my insurance and was assured they over-charged me and are required to abide by their contract with Cigna. The Cigna representative called the Aspen office for me and passed on to me that they said they put in a ticket for my account. I contacted their corporate Customer Service line after several failed attempts with Yulee. Their corporate associate assured me on April 13 I would receive reimbursement after they hear from my insurance and should take a month. July 20 I am still not reimbursed although my insurance informed me Aspen Yulee already received and cashed Cigna's checks.
