              On 1-4-2024 I brought a vehicle that I purchased at Ron Anderson's Chevrolet in *****, ** in for an oil change. I was told to take it to their service ***** Upon removing a bolt to change the oil, the mechanic broke a bolt to the oil pan. I am being charged nearly $900.00 to replace the bolt and the oil pan that their auto mechanic broke. I'm nearly 70 and I'm on a fixed income. Now I don't have a car. I could not contact the General Manager because she didn't have a phone number.

              A few weeks back my daughter and I drove an hour out of our way to view a used vehicle. I already secured my own financing prior to even seeing the Jeep. After a test drive I committed to the purchase and offered them $500 to hold the vehicle for 2 hours while I took my daughter home for a class and went to the bank to pick up the check. As my Uber ride was approaching my home to pick me up and take me back to the dealer, the salesman called to tell me that someone else showed up and wanted the Jeep. ** short, too bad about your luck. While it may have been their policy to be first come, first served, they knew I was returning to purchase the Jeep and either sold it out from under me because I was using my own financing OR they were trying to push me into using their financing. After the "boss" was rude to me over the phone, I abruptly ended the call and took my business elsewhere. Be warned, these people have minimal integrity.

              I am so sorry that ******************** feels the dealership treated him in any way other than respectful. However, our policy is the first customer to demo a vehicle and sign all paperwork, whether paying cash or not, buys the vehicle. We strive to keep processes in place that are fair to both the customer and the sales professional. We are always willing to accommodate our customers and would like to earn their business. We feel this is the only way to be fair to ALL persons involved.
