I WAS CONTACTED BY THIS COMPANY, LIFELINE TAX SOLUTIONS BECAUSE MY WIFE OWED OVER ELEVEN THOUSAND DOLLARS TO THE IRS. THEY SAID THEY CAN HELP US BECAUSE THEY ARE PROFESSIONALS WHO HANDLE BACK TAXES. I CHARGED $1900. TO MY **** CARD FROM ***BANK AND NEVER HEARD FROM THESE PEOPLE AGAIN,THE PERSON WHO CALLED ME SAID HIS NAME WAS MATTHEW ****** AND I COULD CALL HIM AT ANY TIME. I CALLED SEVERAL TIMES TRYING TO GET HIM BUT WAS TOLD BY A FEMALE THAT HE WAS BUSY AND LEAVE A CALL BACK NUMBER. On 12/06/21, during our initial consultation, ************** indicated to us that he/his wife owed a little more than $11,000 to the **** On 12/14/21 we contacted the *** and found that he actually owed $29,965.63. We explained to him that the original plan only works for debts below $25,000. We then explained what the new plan would entail. Our attorney explained in detail what needed to happen and emailed him the necessary documentation in order for us to resolve the situation. This conversation happened on 12/21/21. On 12/22/21, we received the following email from **************."Sir. After careful consideration we have decided that your services are not what we thought it would be and hence we have decided to respectfully ask you to no longer offer the tax help that you so gracefully offered several weeks ago.Thank you. *************************"Per ****************** request we cancelled his case and did not pursue to resolve the situation and subsequently revoked his POA with the *** as required by law.We are more than willing to work with ************** to get his tax issues resolved and we will do so without charging him any additional fees even though we will be doing much more work than originally anticipated due to the higher-than-expected debt amount.
