I ordered furniture through The Classy Cottage who used Sullivan Design Services to transport the item to my home. Sullivan Design Services has been extremely negligent in communication and said the the item would be delivered over a month ago and they refuse to *********** to all inquiries on the arrival of the item.I have yet to receive the furniture I purchased and Sullivan Design Services refuses to answer any questions. I will be forced to involve my legal team and send demand letters if this company does not respond to my direct requests on when they will be delivering my items.Initial Complaint

I purchased 2 antique chairs for $450.00 on March 13, 2023 from an antique business (****** Antiques) selling on **** (as cantiq307). The purchase was made with the understanding that the seller would ship the chairs and I would pay for the shipping COD which would cost about another $450. The seller gave the chairs to Sullivan Design Services for delivery. Sullivan Design services failed to contact me about delivery and I was contacted by the seller on May 4, 2023 that the delivery service couldn't reach me. When I called the Sullivan driver (also on May 4, 2023) he said his supervisor decided it was too late for delivery and they were headed back home and the chairs would have to be sent on another truck. Also I would have to pay $700 instead of the agreed upon $450. I have not heard from Sullivan since then and they do not return my voice mail messages. I contend they never seriously tried to contact me (although they claim they called me, they did not leave voicemail messages and I never received any calls) and they are now holding my chairs for ******. This is essentially stealing. I want them to deliver my property ASAP at the original agreed upon price and I expect them to call me and arrange a mutually reasonable time for that as one would expect of a delivery business doing their due diligence.Initial Complaint

On October 26, 2022, I hired Sullivan Design Services, LLC, to transport to my home a number of furnishing items I purchased at the Round Top Antiques Fair in *********, **. I wrote a ***************** for $958 to pay for these services. According to our agreement, the company would deliver the items and the percentage of total cost charge was to insure against any loss or damage, for which I would be reimbursed should they not deliver. On Friday, November 18th, I received some of the items, but some was missing. I was told at the time that they had forgotten the items and they would be delivered in the next week.From that point, I emailed and followed up with the company weekly, and was first told the items would be delivered soon. Then, finally, in mid-******** was told that the items were in fact, lost and that I would receive a check to reimburse me for the lost items and the associated delivery fee that I was charged for them. As of today, February 17th, despite many follow *** with the company and being told repeatedly that the check would be sent, I have received no reimbursement payment. I have copies of all of these emails, as well as an electronic copy of the original receipt contracting the company.I would just like to get my money back so I can replace the items that were lost. The cost of the items was $1,240 plus the cost of shipping, which was $221 for a total owed me of $1,461.Initial Complaint

On 4/19/22 we paid $7,004.00 for furniture to be White ***** Delivered to our home. We were to be contacted by the delivery service in order to schedule the delivery, but instead we were contacted June 22nd and told that our furniture was out for delivery. We were out of the country and no one was home to accept delivery so apparently our items were dropped off at a storage facility in L.A. Upon returning home, I contacted the delivery service in an attempt to get our furniture. I was told by the driver that ****** had been on vacation for the last 2 weeks and the driver was unable to reach her in order to complete delivery. I contacted ****** several times over the next month and was told that the driver was sick or a truck had broken down or whatever, but never given an actual date when delivery would be made. Bottom line, there is basically no delivery schedule or real communication from Sullivan Design. As a customer, you are expected to be at home 24/7 over several months just waiting and hoping that your furniture will show up.Initial Complaint

They picked up two chairs from around Top Antiques Fair in October 2021. It is now March 2022 and I do not have any idea where my chairs are. Their voicemail is full and their emails are vague. I havent heard from them in weeks. I cant get in touch with them and have asked them on multiple occasions via email to confirm my chairs are in their warehouse or if they lost them. My company, **************, shipped three one-of-a-kind items to my client in **************. Sullivan Design Services took possession of these items in *********, ***** on October 20, 2021. Shipping of $1000 was paid on November 1 for invoice # ****. The shipping is white glove and was expected within 8 weeks. Items have not arrived, no one answers emails or texts. Sullivan Design Services picked up our items from ********** ** in October 2021. We have yet to receive them as of 1/18/2022. They have been called, emailed with subpar correspondence in return. We have no insight as to where our items are, nor a detailed delivery schedule. They attempted to drop off the items with no prior warning so no one was present to receive the items. We have paid in full with no insight to when they will be delivered nor where they currently are.
