On May 10th, I filed a claim with Nationwide to inspect the siding due to a leak in the ceiling. Nationwide partnered with Sedwig for an appraisal, and ****** sent Archer Restoration to assess the damage.Archer Restoration arrived on the evening of May 10th. They removed my dining table, cut a hole in my ceiling, and used a machine to dry the ceiling. They placed the machine on my rug and used a trash bag instead of a drip pan to catch the water, which made me nervous. I provided them with another bag. They also hooked a machine hose to my sink to dry up the excess water. On May 11th, they returned and cut an even larger hole in the ceiling. One of the workers, named Gio, called me to the kitchen to assess the moisture source. I noticed water under my feet and insisted that they remove their machine and address the water on the floor. *** initially ignored the issue, but after contacting Nationwide and my husband, they finally removed the machine and the rug, revealing a stain from the machine on the floor. My husband then checked the moisture levels in the floor, which were 16.7 in the wet area and 19.0 in the dry area. They put down a small heater and a drip tray for the large machine, and brought in a blower. *** completed a material release, accepting responsibility for the water damage and adding details about the floor damage. They removed the damaged rug and left the machines running in my home for two days.On May 13th, they removed the machines. As of May 16, I had not heard from anyone regarding the damage to my floor and rug. When I contacted Archer Restoration, they claimed that it was not their fault despite signing the form with my husband. They suggested I include the issue in claim as they were assisting Nationwide, but refused to take responsibility for the rug's destruction. If Archer Restoration had used its tools properly, my floor would not have been damaged, I would still have rug. My home is in worse condition since their assessment.

I hired archer restoration Jan 22 Their mitigation crew did a fairly good job, but unfortunately, they told me things that didnt come true. They stacked all my belongings in a bedroom on my second floor. When it came time to put things back the tried to up charge me ****** to do it. I was told by the project manager and the original crew that there would not be any charge. I posted a negative review and quickly got a call to please remove it and they would send people out at no charge. I did do it. Then there was one area that was not complete and they wanted to bill me and my insurance company an additional ******* to get it done. They thought my insurance company denied it and then wanted to credit my account approximately ******* and not finish the work. Again I complained that this was not right. I was very upset again after being told that a cleaning crew would be sent in as well. They again refused. I offer them a compromise and would accept $100 credit and close my account.I received the phone call from the owner who threatened me and told me that the sheriffs department would be reaching out to me that he filed a complaint accusing me of extortion. he was absolutely nasty rude and then threatened me that he was contacting his attorney.Evidently, none of which was true, Ive been received notification from the project manager, that they would accept my offers and close the account. The Balance of the job that wasnt complete that they wanted to charge approximately $3500 for I got for $460.If truth is to be known, they tried to extort money from me and the insurance company.BEWARE of the company and its owner.

Our home was damaged by a Tornado March 26, 2021. We we got into a contract with Archer Restoration based on a recommendation of a consultant company we hired to help us called Strategic Claim Consultant on May 4, 2021. The home was to be restored from its damage based on the details in the contract. They agreed on the price that the insurance would pay and was stated in the contract. The contract stated one-third at signing for materials, one-third when work was half way completed, final amount when work was completed. They have been paid to date $26,057.13. No repairs have been done to our home at all. They dropped us by text on February 23, 2022 stating they could not finish the work with the monies we had left and to go back to the consultants and find someone else to do the job. When I asked for a refund for the work that was never started or completed. I was told by chief operator of the company ******************* through a telephone call that all work was approved by the consultant company and the insurance company. I would like for you all to help me get a refund so that i can add that money to what we still have left to find a contractor to restore our home. It has been over 13 months.

When you called that was not said. We have been dealing with  Archer restoration Since April , 2021. The contract I presently have (second one)  is dated August 10, 2021. The invoice is dated August 13, 2021. We did not receive this invoice until January 10, 2022 by email from Strategic Claim Consultant. Why did we not receive a price from Archer Restoration in writing on how much this would cost for the mitigation work back in April? We would have never agreed to pay over ********* in mitigation ( removal of trees,  a tarp on the house, removing my care from the garage) knowing that we would be short on our funds and our home would not be repaired. You dealt with us directly to sign the repair contract how come you did not do the same thing for the mitigation contract work?  We did not have the opportunity to make a decision on the price.you provided the  invoice  four months or more later? The Insurance money was approved on July 22, 2021. How come the work was not started when the money was approved?. As fair as repairs you did not start on the work promptly and you received ********* dollars which is one-third of the agreed repair contract. Cliff is referring to this fourteen thousand plus as a draw for repairs. You did not complete the scope of work. you did not disclose in writing the estimate for mitigation at the time of proposed work. you breached the contract. you did not secure the materials in time frame given. you did not produce the trusses you said had been ordered several times..
