They claim to have fixed/installed my water filter housing but it is just as I left it before dropping off with them. It is fine that they do not want to fix it for me at no charge - disappointing but fine. Based on this experience and many others where I believe they have sent my camper back with additional issues, I don't find them trustworthy. There have been many other "suspicious" things that were not broken when i dropped off, that i found broken the next time I took my camper on a trip. I reported the water filter housing outside of the 90 day service warranty and have only requested 2 documents from them so that i can use my credit card extended warranty benefits, and move forward with a new relationship and repair with a different provider. After multiple follow *** they have failed to provide me with the required documentation. If I miss my window for the claim, i will expect fill reimbursement from them, but all i need is an itemized receipt of the repair (****** paid on either December 28 2023 or March 23, 2024) and a copy of the 90 day service warranty policy. My claim has no impact on their business or finances so i dont understand why they are denying me these records.Initial Complaint

I am reaching out to express my concerns regarding the recent service experience with my Newmar King ***** which was dropped off two months ago at Open Roads ********************** At the time, I specifically requested that the house and chassis batteries be disconnected, and I was assured this would be done. However, when I called to check in after two months, I was informed that this step had not been completed, and the batteries were ******* a result, I was charged $200 for battery diagnostics and $200 for installation of new batteries. This issue should have been prevented if my original instructions had been followed.I am not sure if any of the electronics in my coach was damaged due to the dead batteries.Initial Complaint

We bought a camper (travel trailer) from this company and the amount they told us the camper was is different from what they charged. They also told us we had to put down $4000 but then they raised the purchase amount by $4000. They also had the wrong year listed on the camper.Initial Complaint

On June 16, 2023 my wife and I purchased a camper/travel trailer (2022 ** Sportsman Classic 180RBT) from Open Roads Complete RV in ******, **, we were told we couldn't pick up that day because the service department would do a complete check of the unit (charge battery, fill propane tank, clean, etc). Had a pick up date scheduled the following Friday June 23, 2023. When we arrived we were told there was a significant part missing from the unit, but it had been ordered and we should have in 3 to 4 days, my wife and I both had reservations about taking possession of the unit and wanted to cancel the deal. Both the salesperson ( ******* and the service person assured us that we would receive the part within 3 to 4 days. At 10:35 a.m. on Monday July 3, 2023 I called Open Roads to complain that we hadn't received the missing piece, after talking to Service Manager, he replied he couldn't get an ETA from the manufacturer, I asked to speak to the General Manager, was placed on hold for 25 minutes, at which point I hung up and called back and asked to speak to the General Manager (******) again was put on hold again for another 15 minutes, hung and re-dialed and asked that the ** call me back ASAP, at 2:47 p.m. I got tired of waiting and called back, I was able to speak to the ** this time and she relayed that the part was on its way and that I would receive on the 6th or 7th of July. On July 5, 2023 received a call from the **, where she admitted that the part had not been even bee ordered until July 5 and that they did not have date in which I would receive the part. So now two weekends have passed that we have not been able to use the camper and now we don't when we will be able to use (most campgrounds require reservations). I did finance the unit and the first payment is due July 16. Is there some sort of lemon law in ******* that I can return the unit? Open Roads RV went all out in customer service while they were trying to sell us, not so much now "tough luck".Initial Complaint

Dealership quoted and accepted payment for services they could not deliver. ****************** has no follow up, lies about work they can perform, doesn't complete work as requested and doesn't try to help make things right. My solar system installation was sub par. There is only 2.5 hours of run time and faulty wiring issues. It also took 8 months for them to get it done. Owner agreed to make things right and to get him a quote from a specialist because his company does not have solar expertise. After going through transporting my RV and all of the time and expenses, the findings were taken to him for him to basically say his business did nothing wrong and he didn't feel they should do anything to help accept give me $2,000.00 to help with "my situation". I have an RV that I cannot boon dock in or camp in with full hook *** because of their work. My total expenses on solar are around $20,000.00. This is unacceptable.Initial Complaint

In December I took my new Rv into them for repairs that included a issue with a thermostat that would not turn off and a stove that would not light. About two weeks later they charged me diag for what they said was NPF. We I went to pick it up the stove wouldn't light and the tech said get a long lighter to light it which was not a answer that was ok on me. Roughly one week later the thermostat acted up again which I sent video to them. Once again I took my camper back to them. From the first of January to last saturday they have had my camper giving me multiple lies about parts and what was being done. I have fact that the first claim wasn't turned in until March 1st by *********************. ***** said the thermostat was on backorder where I then contacted the manufacture where they stated the thermostat, door and stove were in stock. Fast forward to 1st of April the new ** **** promise me the world with getting me a new stove, providing me with ****** per my contract with them and refunding my NPF charge. Again a month later my rv was still not ready and asked for a meeting with them and the owner ********************* which **** said he would arrange. Still to this point I have not heard anything from them. I would like to have 6 month of payments giving to me because of the safety issue, and multiple lies from the ** ****. I would like to have my NPF charge returned and also the payment that **** read in the contract.Business Response
