Trash Taxi failed to provide services and we are having a difficult time obtaining a refund. Trash Taxi purchased the company which had been providing our service. We were concerned because ** had provided our service for a number of years before deciding they didnt have adequate area to turn around and had dropped us. They had a full cul de sac with two adjoining drives and had never had an issue in previous years. When Trash Taxi took over for the company they bought a few months ago, we were concerned. But , the driver came out and talked with my husband, sent pictures to his supervisor who approved our service. Everything went well for the first few months. In December, they started skipping our pickup. When we called, they said they would send someone out, but they never came. Once we were told our can wasnt out. Our can never moved from the location it was placed. We took our garbage to the can. We were told there was a substitute driver. Still no pickup. In fact we did not receive service the last 3 weeks of December. They finally called and said they could no longer provide service because their trucks didnt have space to turn around and they could no longer provide service. Again, there is more than adequate space. At that point, we had already paid (electronically) for the first quarter of 2025. We requested a refund for the first quarter, plus the 3 weeks in December for which no service was provided. We were told they couldnt refund the money until their can was picked up. It was picked up by a nice young man in a Trash Taxi truck (who had no trouble turning around) on January 3rd. I contacted the company yesterday asking about the refund. I was told the refund has just been approved and that I would receive a check within the next 2 weeks. But, they would have to charge for the can because it was not out yesterday for them to pick up. I told them it was picked up January 3rd and that my refund should not take an additional 2 weeks.Trash Taxi of Georgia

We are unable to find the account you are speaking of in our system so I cannot speak directly to the issue you are having. Our refund process can take multiple weeks depending on the date of the approval but there is no way for me to check without additional information like the name on the account of the address. I am sorry there were so many issues with your account and that our trucks were not able to service your address due to the roads and lack of turn around. I hope you are able to find another hauler with a smaller truck that can handle the tight spot.Review fromTonya S

1 starI've been with this company for a little over three years now, and each time I have left out additional trash they have picked it up without an issue! I called last week to inquire as to why they didn't pick up my additional trash and the **** advised me that their policy was to not pick up any additional trash that wasn't paid for in advance! The 1st **** advised me that they'll pick up the additional garbage following week as a courtesy(she never mentioned how many bags I can leave out! I had 4-6 additional bags)! So, the following week comes and they didn't pick up the additional garbage! I give them a call back to inquire as to why they didn't pick up the additional garbage AGAIN! The 2nd **** advised me that she'll reach out to the higher-*** and she'll contact me! 4-5 hours pass and I haven't heard anything back, so I give them a call back and the 3rd representative advise me that they didn't pick up the additional bags because it wasn't paid for in advance! I advised the 3rd **** that the 1st **** told me that they'll pick it up as a courtesy! She proceeded to dismiss what I say! The only reason why they didn't see any payment on the account for the additional bags was because they said it was a courtesy (which she later mentioned in the call that she did notice was notated on the account)! She later proceeded to tell me that we had too many bags out there and still proceeds to ignore what I'm saying and decides that she wants to cancel my account without my request and she hangs up on me! How are you going to call them a week in advance and know how much additional bags you're going to have on the actual pick up day! In the past, it used to be they'll pick it up and when it came time to make your payment, you paid for the additional bags! 1 starWe received a letter in the mail from another trash company stating they were taken over certain accounts from **********************, including ours. We were told on the letter to not at **, but to pay them next bill. My husband reached out to the new company when it was time for our bill and we were told THEN that it was not happening anymore. My husband then called and texted TT to see what was going on and to pay the bill there. TT did not respond or answer. When our trash was not picked up as scheduled 11/19/24, it took several attempts calling TT to get someone to answer. He was told then from TT that the buy out of our account fell through, and since we didnt pay our bill with them, we did not get picked up and wouldnt until the next week. When asked if a pick up same day could happen due to full cans, we were told that could happen for an additional $75. Screenshots of texts sent and unanswered phone calls to TT were sent to and viewed by the representative, all disregarded. The sending of a letter PRIOR to any deal actually solidified is ignorant alone; adding zero communication that it was indeed not happening with zero self accountability is abhorrent. If needed, screenshots of unanswered communication attempts and a copy of letter received from impending new company can be provided.Review fromMonica B

Had the service a while was great until they closed my account and took my cans without notice then when I called they tell me they didn't see my online payment and have closed my account I now have to pay the next quarter up front and wait until the next Friday for my cans back. All because the payment posted from online and they didn't bother to check. Also asked for a manager and was told no they are aware of the situation. ??????Excellent customer care. The account was over 45 days past due and it went into write-off status. Our policy is that once the account is over 45 days past due and the customer wants to start service again, they must pay the past due and the next quarter. August was already billed and due next week and there was a reconnection fee to get the can delivered back out. We send out notices via text and email in attempt to collect payment before the account is closed. Trashbilling.com (our billing provider) also mentions this when they make any payment. The customer was notified when the made the payment that they must contact the trash hauler when the account is on suspension. This is a very generous policy as we also service the account two weeks before we suspend service.Review fromJessica B

The company is responsive, helpful and courteous, and I appreciate the willingness to listen and work with customers. Like so many companies, Trash Taxi is doing its best in a challenging economy with rising costs and staffing shortages. Dealing with ***************** over the phone was a true pleasure as we resolved an issue with my account. Absolutely a fantastic company! Great service, price, employees! They are very responsive when you call and leave message. They are one of the few companies that still take yard waste. Never missed a pick-up!!! Very courteous and friendly drivers. ***** and the entire office is also amazing!!! I was recommended by a friend and called today. I had looked at their website and noticed that I could pay via a bank draft to avoid the credit card charge. I spoke to ***** and she was WONDERFUL. She fully explained everything. She informed me when my can would be delivered and where it would be placed, when pickup day is, what exactly is picked up and the maximum, and explained any bulk items. She explained about extra charges and deadlines to have something picked up so that a work order is cut accordingly. She was very friendly and knowledgeable and SUPER HELPFUL in this time of my moving. We all know those stresses. This was one less thing I had to worry about and the entire process took a few minutes at most. I am quite confident that my service will remain as such.Trash Taxi of Georgia

We used to be with American Disposal for 15 years until they simply stopped picking up trash on street for MONTHS! Trash Taxi of Georgia has NEVER missed a pickup and are GREAT people!
