********* Took my son's ****** ** **** *** cell phone to this company because the phone was not charging. The employee looked at his phone and told us the charging port was "just dirty" and that they could clean the port, replace the cracked back, and the front screen for $400. He said and I quote "The phone will be back to new". As soon as my son got home with the repaired phone, the phone would not charge past 1% and he said it smelled like battery acid. Being that the charging issue we originally took it in for was NOT fixed and now smelling like battery acid and fear of the battery catching fire or causing harm to my son, took the phone back to Smart Repair the next day. Was told the battery had a little bulge on it that it wasn't a big deal. They changed the battery port "at no charge". Clearly that was the problem to begin with and wasn't fixed the first time. Got the phone back for the second time. After getting home with it that same day,when my son called me on his phone I could barely hear what he was saying, it sounded like he was a football field away. There was no way anyone could hear him. Mind you, there was absolutely nothing wrong with this part of his phone before taking it to Smart Repair. They also replaced his screen and back with LESS than sub par parts. Parts that were no where near what I was charged. His phone has since cracked and now is COMPLETELY unusable! Now my son has no phone and I lost $400! Also, this business gives you a receipt that does not show what you are paying for or what work was done. Took it in for charging issue and now he has no phone and I'm out $400.
