On **** I came to the dealership to purchase a car. This company did not act in good faith. They upcharged me 16k had me sign multiple papers and the numbers weren't right. After looking at my purchase agreement which I was told was the same one I signed before... the purchase price went up 10k and there was a warranty I didn't agree to for 6k. I don't need a extended warranty on an Electric vehicle. I told them I didn't want it. The warranty was not signed by me but added into my retail purchase agreement.

This was worked out with the customer just after this complaint was filed.  Customer did, in fact, agree to the terms of the contract at the time the vehicle was originally purchased.  However, we have agreed to refund the amounts requested by the customer.

I bought a 2023 Kia ***** from the company ****/23. I bought the vehicle as a new vehicle. The next day I was taking the vehicle back to be detailed and realized the vehicle had 1,245 miles on it, but the paperwork I signed said 16 miles. Once at the shop I inquired about them selling me a used vehicle, and asked why did they put 16 miles on the paperwork. This is not considered a new car. I asked for a new car. The sales lady Angela did state they had to get the car back from someone. Also another persons name was connected to the telephone of the car, when she tried to put my name into the telephone. I spoke to the manager and he said they put 16 miles on my paperwork but they put the correct miles 1245 on the title paperwork and that’s what matters. I feel like I have been sold a used car under false pretense. I paid for a new car and this is not what I received. While I was there getting ready to leave the car caught a flat tire on top of everything else. I just left the car, until I can get a resolution to this problem. I should not have to pay a new car price and I have a used car.

******* ***** and her husband came in on ******2023 to get their vehicle cleaned.  When ******* arrived, she ask to speak to a manager about the mileage on the 2023 Kia *****.  Eric J******, the general manager, walked in to assist the customer.  He walked in and stated his name and title and ask how he can assist.  The customer and her husband pointed in the face of Eric and stated "You better find me another car without the mileage on it"  Eric asked if would they allow him to talk and explain how they corrected the error on the mileage the night they bought it.  The customer stated no and told him that they getting their lawyer and he better find them a vehicle. The customer would not allow Eric to go over the corrections or allow him to offer them the free oil changes that he went in to offer.  Eric asked the customers to come back when they have a better tone since they were disrupting business.  *******'s husband calls Eric the *** ***** a few times on the way out of the dealership.

When they went to get in the car, their tire was flat. Eric had ******* pull around to service where he offered to fix the tire. *******'s husband demanded that she leave the vehicle in service.  The husband stated 3 times that he will come after Eric because he was embarrassed.  He called Eric a ********* *** several times and stated he *** **** ** **** ******* ***** and is not scared of Eric.  Eric smiled and said have a great day.

      Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because: The company was to sell me a new vehicle, they sold me a vehicle with over  a thousand miles on it. They also put the incorrect miles on my warranty. Now I’ve lost over a thousand miles on my warranty as well. This car was originally sold to someone else whom put all those miles on the car. When I asked to speak to the manager Eric, he stated the correct miles were on the title, but they put 16 miles on the paperwork to the finance company. We were just stating that it is fraudulent to put the incorrect miles on the odometer paperwork and deceive the customer to thinking they were getting a new car. He became angry and told us to get out his shop, too bad we signed the paperwork and there was nothing we could do about it as he laughed in our face. I just want what I am paying for, I was promised a new car, and that is not what I got, this company should not be aloud to get away with fraudulent paperwork and deceiving consumers, and then be treated like dirt because you address what they are doing is fraudulent. This company needs to be investigated. This is the worse experience I have ever had in my life, and to have the manager of the store laugh in your face and tell you too bad, as if this is what they are used to doing and getting away with it.

      Sincerely,

      ******* *****
