      I reached out and filed a complaint about slices of ham we had recently purchased and disappointed there was no sweet glaze. When I called the store in *********** and spoke to manager I was advised this was a company wide policy to do this - to slice it off. People didnt want it?? I thought that was the main reason we liked it so much. After contacting another store close by - the manager there told me that sometimes it can get hard so they will slice off and place in the bag for customer to enjoy but had not heard anything about the other being company wide. She agreed that was one of the things people love the most about honey baked ham. I ended up sending a complaint in thru Honey Baked and the email was forwarded to the local store. The assistant manager that replied was so rude and lack of professionalism was a complete joke and embarrassment to any company. She did not answer any of the questions and nor try to remedy a solution for the past visit. Please tell me this is a one time fluke and your company is not ran this way - otherwise we will not return all thanks to ******* in ***********.

      I ordered a half ham for Easter dinner.I order every year for the holidays.I did not look into my bag until Sunday dinner.Big mistake,unwrapped the ham and the smoked turkey breast..There was no glaze and the ham appeared to be burned as well.The turkey breast was burned also and dry. My Easter dinner was ruined !!!! When i took the ham and turkey back the Monday after Easter to Honey Baked Ham in ********,**.,the associate at the counter seemed so indifferent.She put the money back on my card ,gave me the receipt and walked away. No Im sorry for the inconvenience or any thing. RUDE !!!! I was not the only person returning their hams.No explanation ,no contact from the company.I think I DESERVE some type of compensation for this inconvenience as well as other patrons.

      Ordered for 96 year old mother having 20 guests Easter (3/31/24), in an area that did not have internet/cell service, online was a not available. Landline called & placed order, 2 hams (1-12lb, 1-8lb). Pickup Thurs-,3/28/24. Reaching counter, told to go to 2nd line. The latter for people who didn't place an order ahead of time, now we are in it. After long wait, did not have our order, and it was if we were ordering for the first time. Told no online order, wait with everyone else. Purchased the two hams they had available (not sizes we were told). One very good, the other was very dry (tasted old) and not spiraled. Prompted us to reply to an email from HBH about recent order.(didn't they just say they couldn't find an order)! Just received a phone call from HBH about my responses, reiterated them again. Was told that online ordering is HBH practice to provide accuracy with order. My immediate question "what if there is no internet or you are a senior citizen not knowing about computers or cellphones." HBH does not recognize this generation nor care, was told "that's the way it is." Also, he has never heard ham not being spiraled, offered to send what is remaining back to him, his response "that is not necessary." Obviously was since he never saw one. Continued with correct way should have been told to me over the phone, pay online, etc. Reading other disgruntled reviews, paying for what you actually get is a big mistake. All I got was sorry for your experience. My complaint was how he shrugged off a senior citizen that deserves more in life than HBH shoving rules & regulations to others who do not understand to begin with. No sympathy making them understand how he makes them feel. I never, and urge others to take a stand with this company, for lack of communication with orders,... more importantly that not all people are treated equal. .HBH should be ashamed of themselves. No HBH in this family ever again! Poor quality and very poor business practice!

      I have been a loyal HBH customer for 30+years. For the past several years I have purchase 1/4 bone in hams for associates who work for our company. This year I did the same and when I received mine noticed the 1/4 spiral cut bone in ham was 4.5 lbs (8 slices of ham and then the bone) for $79.99 + shipping (total $103). I was shocked and knew this would not feed the same amount as my hams have in the past. I looked at the website for I have always known I order the $79-99 ham that 7-9 lbs. Last years was just that, 9lb 1/4 spiral cut ham $79.99 +shipping. I look like the t*** because my associates received half the sized ham they had last year. I called customer service and spoke with ****** who was very kind but could only offer an apology. I mentioned I felt like this was false advertising for last year the web site quoted lbs and this year the site quotes how many it feeds (4-6 people). I'm not sure how 6 people can share 8 slices of ham as their holiday meal protein. I'm DONE because HBH made me look bad to my associates, I'm still hungry and it's bad business (I'm also irritated that I now have to boycott them based off principle for the rest of my life). DONE, DONE, DONE!

      I ordered one each Honey Baked Ham, through a smaller yet high end grocery store. I paid 80+ dollars for the ham. I pre - ordered the ham in early December. I picked up the ham, waited three days later to cook it up. Once cooked on Christmas day I as my guest found out, I wasted my money. 50 percent fat for a 80 dollar ham? Really. Never again. Will stick with a pre packaged Maple Glaze Ham from W******* over Honey backed anyday.

      Normally, I would give Honey Baked Ham at least a 3 1/2 to 5 star review based on previous on line and in store purchases. Sometimes our hams pounds dont match what he paid forIve never complained, I just took it as part of this is what you get when you order online. This year, I ordered a Thanksgiving dinner again for my son who is away at law school. We really couldnt afford such an expensive dinner to be sent this year but I hated my son not to have Thanksgiving at all. So I ordered the Thanksgiving dinner early in October 20 for $164.99 and paid for the order in full including shipping to arrive on November 16 for the total of $207.84. Today is November 12 and I open my email to receive a Honey Baked Ham email campaign that is advertising:$20 off shipped orders of $99+$30 off shipped orders of $150+$40 off shipped orders of $200+Use promo code ****** at checkout.I called customer service and spoke to a lady. I asked if my account could be credited the $30 for the coupon they were offering. She said no thats against company policy. So as a regular customer, Im being punished because I ordered early. There was no offer in place when I ordered. My order hasnt shipped, it is 4 days away from being shipped out. I already paid in full last month in advance. I personally dont think this is a good business practice. Instead of me feeling good about a purchase that I made, ** now upset and angry. I feel my account should reflect a $30 credit for the coupon. Nor could I cancel and reorder. To those reading this, I would wait till the very last minute to order or not order at all and find a substitute such as a ******************. I think my request was fair and I was denied. With the current inflation out of control, every ***** matters to our family especially when we have a son in school. I dont think I asked anything that wasnt fair. If my order had already been shipped fine, but its still going to sit there for another 4 days before being processed.

      The worst experience. I worked here years ago and it must be management changes because this ************* ******* ** location is the worst. Thelema was THE most insolent and facetious individual I have come across in customer service. The attitude I had to deal with just to retrieve food for my guests on 11/25 was abhorrent. I spent ***** just to be insulted and them to call the day of, 6 min b4 pickup, to tell me they were out of stock. They gave me the option of canceling my order 6 min before my guests begin to arrive and my husband is on his way to pick it up. I placed the order 72 hours ago. Honestly after reading the other reviews. I will never, nor will I encourage anyone to order from there. As a former employee and as a customer. The quality has declined drastically and the service is horrible. The company needs a major overhaul especially in *******.

      came to pick up my pre ordered honeybaked ham and the line for pick up is fifty people deep at 1:0o pm on friday 12/24 absolutely ridiculous and very bad business disappointed in this company as we are the customers and should not be inconvenienced like this before a holiday why is the ***** store in ************* not prepared for their orders ? never again Unsatified customer

      I placed a prepaid order for Thanksgiving to avoid the long lines only to arrive this morning to a long line for prepaid guest. If you didn't prepay or place an order ahead of time, you were allowed to walk in and purchase. When speaking with the so called general manager, she was nonchalant about the extremely long line of prepaid customers. There reportedly was a problem with the system. Come on, when the computers don't work, you have a manual backup system. Every guest with an online order received an email that listed what was purchased and the price. To not accommodate the guest and allow them to wait for hours was insane. I left. I will NEVER purchase from this location ever again. Poorly ran!
