Hello:Me and my twins are new to this area and decided to celebrate their birthdays at this hotel. I booked 2 rooms for one night - Dec 21 - 22, 2021. My sister offered to pay for both rooms and when she checked in she provided her payment information. When we checked out the on Dec 22, she again provided her payment information. However, I later learned that the hotel ended up putting both rooms on my card! This unfortunately ******** my account as I was not expecting these charges. I contacted the hotel on Dec 25th and was bounced around to several different very rude people. I spoke to someone named ******* and a ************ Manager name *****. They refused to provide their last names even though I explained that my bank account was overdrawned due to hotel error. I literally had no money with which to feed my children! I was contacted on Dec 26th by the hotel's Assistant Manager, *******************************. She was unable to explain why the hotel charged my account even though my sister provided her payment information when she checked in as well as when she checked out. She also said that this would be resolved within one to two business days and agreed to provide a free night at the hotel. A concerned family member sent food money to my bank account to help out until the situation could be resolved. Well this deposit was eaten up by the account that the rooms were charged to because it was overdrawn. I immediately contacted ******** and explained that the money that was sent to us for food was not available due to the bank's error. All she could do was explain some event that she was busy with. In mean time I have no funds with which to feed my children. This has totally destroyed our holidays! Not only should the hotel refund me for the rooms that my sister paid for, they need to find a way to make up the stress and hunger we have suffered!
