I hired 4 Seasons Landscaping for a ************** renovation. Our lawn and shrubs are over 20 years old. Many of the old azalais and rose bushes had simply gotten too old and looked like they were on their last leg. The fescue grass on the sides and back (shady areas) of our yard was really in bad shape, even after aerating and overseeding two years in a row. **** (4 Seasons owner) designed a complete renovation plan that includes a complete drainage system, lawn irrigation, a beautiful retaining wall where we had a weed-covered muddy bank, replace the old shrubs with new azalais and roses, grade our lawn and add fresh topsoil and replace the fescue with a modern ******* grass developed by ********************* (TifTuf *******) that only needs 4 hours of sunlight per day to thrive and is also drought tolerant. ****'s crew worked very hard, 8-9 hours per day, 6 days a week for two and a half weeks to complete the job. **** personally came over a few times during the work to check on the progress and ensure everything was going to plan. **** was very responsive when I had any questions about things I saw while work was underway. His crew ******* is very friendly and easy to work with and he took care of a few extra requests, like digging out an old tree ***** and extending irrigation under a walkway to get to a shrub bed we did not think we could include in the irrigation system. The results look fantastic. ****************, a really nice looking block retaining wall, and nice new shrubs. **** programmed the irrigation for the new sod and bushes and showed me how to make any changes. He will return in the spring to check on all the grass and shrubs and take care of any problems that *** develop. I'm very happy with 4 Seasons and recommend them to anyone considering a landscaping renovation.Review from Jordan

I hired 4 Seasons for my backyard renovation and the experience has been a nightmare. Professionalism/Responsiveness: From the start, I received what turned out to be empty promises from the owner. The project began abruptly with minimal forewarning (I believe I received a text 15-30 minutes prior to the start of what most would consider a major backyard renovation). Shortly after the project began, we were informed we were not able to select the style or color of retaining wall or pavers that we were shown prior to beginning the project (would've been nice to know prior to ground being broken). The owner, who indicated he'd be there daily, rarely visited the project which required a considerable amount of "project management" from my wife and me. As the poor quality of parts of the project began to appear (more below), the owner become more and more elusive. Quality/Value: Parts of the project were completed incorrectly which proved detrimental to integrity of the entire project (see images). The yard was not properly graded which led to runoff that immediately stained the expensive pavers. Sections of the pavers were not laid level which caused pooling in certain areas. The sand was not only of low quality, it was improperly installed and failed miserably throughout the patio. I had to pay other crews to fix the grading issue, clean the pavers, and reapply the sand. Working with 4 Seasons proved to be stressful, taxing, and costly. I recommend looking elsewhere.
