DON'T DO THE CHECK BY MAIL! The check is a complete scam. I should have listened to these reviews on it. They did a hard inquiry into my credit that I didn't authorize and tried to tell me my score dropped 50 points since they had sent the check?? I pay for credit monitoring and have been sitting comfortably at around 720 for months. They did do the home refinance pitch which I was expecting and I respectfully declined. Luckily I didn't need the money anyway but now I have a credit inquiry I'll have to dispute so that my score won't drop. Hopefully they'll do right thing and have that removed themselves. I have no ill will with either one of the women I talked to but as a corporation milend really needs to stop sending fake pre-approved checks in order to give home refinancing sales pitches. My advice to anyone would be to tear the checks up as soon as you get them, or better yet just write "refused" on anything they send in the mail.MiLend, Inc. Response

We are sorry to hear the agent couldn't get you approved for the consumer loan. Clients are prescreened for the small, personal checks based on the fact that their credit score is in a certain range. When they call in we need have to verify a few things to make sure the credit score is still in the acceptable range and the debt to income ratios are in line. These are unsecured loans and we have to verify the risk level is within tolerance. We've cashed millions of dollars on these live check, personal loans over the course of the past few years, but sometimes clients do not qualify. However, sometimes they do qualify for some of our other loan products and we discuss those with the client as well.MiLend ManagementReview from Huley B

I never got a chance to thank you ***** for all your work. This refinance has taken so much pressure off of me Who would have thought that just responding to a $1000 loan offer would lead to this. I am so thankful for your guidance, thoroughness, and efficiency. My credit score has already come up and it will come up even more. Plus I have two $15,000 loans that are paid in full. I have been reading all the detrimental comments about this company and think they are scams. I have a loan with MiLend and they have been ****** helpful and unbelievably easy to work with. It is pathetic when a few people who cannot qualify for loans can try to destroy a company with negative comments shown all over the world. They really don't have a way to defend themselves unless people who have positive experiences speak up on their behalf. Thank you MiLend for helping me when I needed it most!!!! Milend was a very big stress reliever for my wife and I with our cash out refinance on our current mortgage.
