Horrible! Contacted this guys multiple times and still they hold my title for the fully paid-off car!! I can't review my license plate or get my Title on the car!! 6 weeks !!! They sent me an additional document that they forgot to give me once i was buying the car, i did sign that one and 5 days later - still NOTHING.... Cant reniew my tag or get my TITLE ! Purchased $70000 car that i cant do anything with....

My issues are the same or similar to recent others. I bought a car from ALM in early August. Upon review of the paperwork at home (we trusted the explanation of the finance manager), found we were charged $799.00 for a package that included oil change, tire rotation, detail and other services. As we live over 100 miles from the dealership, we would never use these services. Doc fees of $277.00 are $250.00 more than commonly charged by other dealers. Finally, ALM charged $43.00 for plate fees. We were told that the ** plate would be directly sent to our house. Sceptical that this wouls be the case, we let **************** out and, of course, I had to go to our local DMV and pay an additional $36.00 for a valid ** plate. I have been in communication with ALM Finance who told me the ** (*****) had ro resolve the issues. At first, early September, ***** was communicative, each time "working on it", "let me see where we are" and them no call bacl.Since late September I have sent email, voice mail and texts regarding the situation and ALM is no longer communicating.I feel that I am owed $300.00 due to overcharges and non-delivery of services.

I purchased a veh as of may 15, 2023. My 1st temp tag expired on jun 27, 2023. We made multiple calls to managers at ALM Athens to resolve the issue. The managers kept advising they need to speak with corporate and will callback. We never had received a call back. I had to get an extension on my temp tag and it was extended till July 27, 2023. The registration adv ****** only able to supply 2 temp tags. I called ALM Athens July 14, 2023 and spoke with a manager and he advised they forgot to have us sign a document and he would overnight it to me. I didnt receive the document till July 17, 2023 and was able to return it July 18, 2023. I made follow up calls throughout the week to and the advised they have received it but has to follow up with corporate. I made a call July 21, 2023 and asked for the general manager to follow up on this which he advised he would on July 24, 2023 around 12PM. I waited to receive the phone call which was never placed. I had to call back and advised that an attorney will get involved if this does not get resolved and my registration ends up being late. I received a call this morning July 25, 2023 from a manager advising that everything has been resolved and the tag office has received the information they need for my registration. I called the tag office and confirmed that I am able to get my registration. I should have not had to go through this process and almost been late on my 2nd temp tag extension which would have expired on July 27, 2023. I also received emails and mail from my bank they have not received the title which I did not have in my possession.

We bought a truck and traded in two vehicles that were both still financed. My husband worked with a separate finance company so we wouldnt have to spend all day at the dealership. They knew we owed on both. We went in with the amount we were told to finance and signed the paperwork. A week later my husband gets a phone call from the guy who quoted the numbers and is yelling at him saying he needs to finance more for the truck or they will report it stolen. Come to find out they failed to add the payoff into the final number. Now they are acting like we are supposed to finance for 20k more because they screwed up. The finance ********************* is lying saying we told him not to include the payoff on one of the vehicles which makes absolutely no sense.

ALM ATHENS (CAR LOT) did some fraudulent paper work with my family members about a car and now no one knows anything. They keep passing the buck and nothing is getting resolved. They put the cosigner as the primary and the primary as co-signer and it should have been the other way around. Co-signer had A1 credit until they pulled this stunt, now it's on her credit and not on the primaries credit. All we want is a reversal and to clear the original co-signer credit. The financial company said all they had to do was change the paperwork to what it was originally suppose to be and the car lot to send them the paperwork, the car lot ALM Athens has yet to do this. They are still passing the buck and acting like they don't know what to do. And not to mention there were a couple of car notes paid on the car. Now they have the car back and trying to resale the car to another family member when they ******* said the car belongs to the bank. How are you going to resale a car to another consumer that they said belongs to the bank. It's so much more to this story and not enough characters in this review box to explain more. Can someone please give advice or help with this matter? Thanking you in advance DUPPED CONSUMER
