I purchased a groupon to apply towards a carpet cleaning service, when he got there he mentioned that the square footage was larger than what was alloted in the groupon and procecceded to charge me $370 for the extra space. No where in the agreement did it say how much extra it would be and when I asked him to provide me with the information that stated it he could not give it. The contract I was asked to sign but never given was already filled-in with my initials in certain spaces that I didn't sign and when I asked if he could show me where the extra charge was stated he could not he also placed my initials in spaces that i noticed after the service was complete. He had on conflicting company attire, an Amazon shirt with the carpet cleaning company jacket. The areas that were treated still had the same spots that were originally there and when I asked him about it he said it was the way the carpet was wefted and thats the reason the spot wouldn't go away. He used my water and power unlike many other companies that come with a tank of their own. He asked me for a paper towel duringbthe visit and after he left I noticed he dumped the dirty cleaning water in the toilet and tried to flush it but it wouldnt go down. When it came to payment I was initially told that he could only take zelle because his card reader was broken,which was a red flag to me given this is a company. I attempted to zelle given the info he provided (his name not a company name) but the bank saw it as fraud. Then he got frustrated and identified after he completed cleaning the carpet that his reader does work, so i used another card with a different bank, now feeling bullied into the transaction). After he left I got a call from his company asking if I wanted to sign up for a cleaning package and I told them I was dissatisfied with the service and before i could explain why he hung up on me. I just want my money back this was a terrible experience and still had to go rent my own carpet cleaner.
