      So frustrated with delta.. Friday morning I was supposed to leave at 8:20 am. We boarded the flight and then flight attendants say that there are no pilots ?!?! We all get off the plane and wait Flight was initially delayed. Waited for 1 more hour and then it was cancelled completely. Rebooked for a different flight Sunday morning. But delta still put my bags on some random flight and my bag was sent to my destination. What the heck ?! Then I come back to my rebooked flight and there are no flight attendants. And this flight is delayed. What is going on delta ???? Why would you schedule a flight and then have no workers!!!! Pay your employees more so that they show up to work! I believe I am due compensation for this incredible inconvenience. I was supposed to be out for work 2 days ago!! So frustrating!

      On July 9, 2024 we booked a flight out of PBIA at 2115 to *** in ** with a connection to ********We were told that a flight attendant was out so they would have a delay, missing our connection to ********I was forced to miss the first 2 days with $800 worth of activities lost.Best they could do is leave the 11th then endure a 11 hour layover at ****On the way back from ******* we arrived at *** with a connection to WPB supposedly leaving at 1530. They said the flight was delayed while the plane was being cleaned. Every hour it was announced for an hour later.Finally at 2300 they announced the flight was canceled.We watched every other Delta flight depart cause our family spent the night at ****We called customer service and they couldnt confirm our itinerary so there was no help.Your company ruined a once in a lifetime trip and cost me several thousand dollars.Delta is the worst airline I have experienced in my 55 years. Horrible.

      After paying for my first class ticket I was so upset when I was denied access to their lounge only because I didn't purchase my ticket wit an **************** Delta card. Is just doesn't make any sense! And I don't think it is the right think to do by Delta. It makes you feel so inferior

      We flew Delta on 7/15/2024. I was flying with my husband and our 5 year old son. We have flown United in the past on basic Economy. They have a strict family policy. So if you book on basic economy they will always place an underage child with at least one parent or adult. It is unbelievable to me that Delta has no similar policy and allows children under 13 to fly sitting on their own separated from parents. Where is the liability for the airlines? Is there no concern for child safety? I am shocked. The agent at the desk was of no help either and had no concern. Said the flight was completely booked and he didnt have time to individually call up those in the seats around us to request a seat swap. Delta should not allow minors to book tickets under Basic economy without a family policy. This should just be common sense! My five year olds own instincts were to beg me not to leave him alone between two strangers. I truly feel myself and my son have been traumatized by this experience. I shouldnt have to reassure my five year old son that he is going to be okay on a flight. I also shouldnt have to rely on the kindness of someone else to move, which is what the agent suggested at the desk. By the way, no one wanted to move which I dont hold against them. Sitting behind my son I couldnt see the hands of either person sitting next to him. In a world where we have pedophiles and other criminals this was beyond anxiety inducing. I do take issue with Delta however. Delta, do better!

      I recently had a 12 hour flight from **** to ******* on Delta. Unfortunately the tv monitor on my flight did not work nor did the delta app (while on board the place) to access Delta Studio. The flight attendants instructed us to pay for the $25 Wi-Fi (per person- traveling in a party of 3). As well that the flight attendants would go and issue us a refund of some sorts for the technical error. The flight attendants said wed receive an email with the refund/ credit. We never did. I called delta customer service in which I was met by a representative from *********** department. She offered ***** miles which I wanted in dollars. That equates $50. I said that was not enough for having no entertainment on a 12 hour flight (mind you we looked up in flight services before boarding expecting to have access to movies for a long flight and traveling with a child). Ultimately the representative offered $100 per passenger. I asked to speak to a manager as it was also becoming difficult to get a refund for the WiFi we were told to purchase. I was then met by a manager named ******* from **************. ******* was extremely rude to me. Not empathetic at all to the scenario. Laughed at my issue with not having a working monitor. Made snarky remarks. Talked over me and didnt try to listen. ******* is a manager representing Deltas customer service and she had little to no customer service skills. She then took the $100 per passenger offer away and said Id only get $25 per passenger because of the grid. It is sad that Delta employs and allows behaviors of such magnitude by employees. Ive always spoken highly of delta. Used them as my preferred airline. Now I will think twice about using them for my travel.

      made a purchase 6/24/24 for 3- round trip tickets from ******* to ******* 9/17-9/22/24,costing $1723.00. I purchased using my **************** Delta credit card gift cards. My **************** card limit is only $1000, so I purchased 2-$500.00 delta airlines e-gift cards from Target online. I saved $50 for being target credit card holder. When I checkout on delta airlines website, I added my gift cards and it showed it deducted from my total. When I hit submit payment it showed me a payment of around $700 going to my **************** credit card.Three days later the transaction fully posted on my credit card as 3 separate charges of ****** (each flight)+ 3- separate charges of $4.99(seat assignments) my gift cards still had full balances. Ive called Delta 10+ times, they are not willing to resolve the issue. Ive called **************** and they suggest I dispute the transactions- but that will cancel my trip . Flights are up to $1400.00 each, how is this my fault for there system error. So disputing with **************** is not an option. I called target , even though e-gift cards are not refundable. They advised me that the reviews were not good on those gift cards. The reviews on Target website under the $500.00 gift cards states these cards do not work and its a huge scam. Target advised me they cannot refund as Delta accepted payments of the gift cards.Now only have Ive been scammed out of $950.00, but Delta airlines caused my credit card to go over the limiT and hurt my score by 50 point, while applying for a HELOC LOAN!

      I chose Delta Air Lines for my corporate and personal travel. On a personal trip they broke one of my golf clubs during transport. I requested that they refund the cost of the club. During an email exchange Delta stopped responding all together and chose to ignore my claim. My wife and I travel frequently for business and personally. We will be switching completely away from Delta due to this experience. Delta could have rectified this Situation for 300 dollars however they have created a grudge match and only wife and I will fail to provide them 10s of thousands of dollars over our careers.

      I wish there was a lower star review options. What a disappointment this was. Usually they are the best but ATL out did theirselves here and really fumbled it. So unhelpful. They refused to even give me enough attention to understand what I needed. I lost wallet and keys and and knew immediately where and when. Happened within a minute or two. I found several delta staff but all basically blew me off, said they couldnt/ wouldnt help, or snickered at me. Even with find my iPhone they just wouldnt even stop and help. They were my primary carrier as I take on a new role that will have me traveling 70 % of the time. Now Ill rethink that. Shamefull.

      I wish to formally register a grievance against Delta Airlines due to their inadequate customer service. During my return flight from ******** to *******, I was instructed to retrieve my baggage at ******** (***) despite ******* being my final destination. I was then rushed to transfer my luggage to ***************** via taxi, with the warning that any missed flights would be entirely my responsibility. It was expected that Delta Airlines would prioritize expedited connections or arrange for baggage to reach the final destination in cases of connecting flights.Subsequently, after complying with their instructions, the gate was changed twice, and the flight was delayed on six occasions without providing passengers with a reliable timeline. The airline attempted to attribute the delays to weather conditions. However, upon inquiring about these weather conditions from a Delta Airlines representative, it was discovered that they provided false information. Initially, they stated the delay was due to weather in ******, but the weather report showed no issues in ******. When questioned, they changed their statement to implicate Pennsylvania instead.I am thoroughly exhausted by this ordeal and view this as an abuse of power by Delta Airlines. I insist on holding them accountable for their actions and demand appropriate accommodation, especially as I missed a crucial meeting due to the delays. Thank you for your attention to this matter.One final point I would like to highlight is the apparent practice of Delta Airlines providing bookings under false pretenses and engaging in deceptive tactics with passengers, akin to a "bait-and-switch" approach. I urge for accountability regarding these misleading and false representations. Thank you for addressing these concerns.

      My daughter recently had to fly to a wedding in ******. It took most of her money from her checking account to get down there and get a ticket back. While down there a hurricane path was predicted to go very near or directly to her location. She was originally to leave on Friday but the hurricane is/was predicted to hit the area Friday so she tried to schedule a flight out on Thursday. When she checked the cost it was a $500 ticket. She asked me to transfer the money to her account so I did immediately. It wasn't 5 minutes after she requested the money and I transferred it she went to finalize the purchase she had already "claimed" and all of a sudden the price was $1400. I will look up the definition of price gouging but I am pretty sure this is a great example of it. She has since had to resort to leaving with another airline at a considerably later time.
