Sunday October 24, 2021, I called Lackley's for a simple jumpstart. He told me to text him my address and he would send someone over. The gentleman by the name of ******** (if that was the truth) tried to jump start my car several times with no luck (which I thought was weird) on his last attempt the car completely stopped coming on altogether. The same man towed my car (with a Lackley's tow truck) to a car shop of my choice. They had my car for 24 hrs and couldn't figure out why it still wouldn't start. They asked what happened prior to me bringing them the car. I told them I tried to get a jump start because I believed the issue to be my battery. They said "wow, that makes sense we ONLY see issues like this if the jump start was done improperly." The issue now became an electrical problem. I contacted Lackley's immediately letting them know what was said... they denied everything. I went and got an electrical mechanic.. without him knowing anything about the car prior he figured out that my fuse and bcm were severely blown. The bcm controls how my car starts (push to start). He said "the ONLY way this could happen was if a jump start was done improperly. After hearing this I reached out to Lackley's again explaining to them what was said and that they needed to pay for the damages! The owner begins to deny having the employee that came out to service my car. I asked for his credentials he lied and gave me a company that hasn't even heard of a ********. It is now November 3, 2021, and my car finally works and still no accountability! I've spent $1,715 between tows, mechanics, parts, labor and Lyft. Not to mention having to call out of work all last week! I WILL not accept this from a business especially something that could have easily been prevented, I have proof that it was only a jump start I needed.But leave it to the owner when I threatened to contact BBB & a Lawyer he said neither would do anything, I GUESS he's gotten away with this before... very sad!
