I have all of the evidence and supporting documents for the following.I brought my 8 year old car to *************************** at Buckhead Collision *************) to have a ding fixed that was caused by a woman's car door tapping my rear left door. Her insurance company, ****** Insurance, said it would be covered, and there was no cost to me, as their client admitted to it. Buckhead Collision began the work, decided to do extra work without asking, then said they weren't charging me for it. HUGE RED FLAG! SCAM ALERT! ****** Insurance said Buckhead Collision did unrelated work such as removeding the fabric headliner from the ceiling (why???) removing a tail light (why???), and breaking off all of the door moldings. ****** said there was an investigation pending because they were being charged $3378.33 for a ding! ****** Insurance paid Buckhead Collision $1165.15, according to them, an unusually high amount for the repair, just so they could close the case. They said that Buckhead Collision never got a pre-approval to do the work, then inflated and added extra work, then billed ****** for all of it, including the unrelated work. After Buckhead Collision received ******** check, they billed me a seemingly random amount of $709.71 and said I needed to directly pay the Buckhead Collision or they wouldn't release my car. I had to pay it to get my car out but I want it refunded. This is a scam!!!In addition, Buckhead Collision caused paint removal on the black divider between the windows where they were repairing the ding. They said I had to pay 50% of the repair cost to fix what they damaged, in addition to the $709.71! They caused that! They need to fix it!They also caused deep, noticeable scratches on the left rear door. I have before and after photos. The remedy: 1. Refund $709.71 2. Replace the part between windows where they caused paint removal (about 2" wide)3. Repair the deep scratches they made on the left rear door.
