This complaint is regarding a service that was not provided and I feel it may be a scam. The owners name is ****************. She provides a hair braiding service. She provided services between ******* ****** and ******* ******* throughout the year. I reached out via Instagram and she was not quick to respond. However, when she did, she messaged me via iMessage as well as Instagram direct messages. I went ahead and booked and paid her a $25 fee via Zelle. As my braiding date approached, I reached out to find out the address and to see what kind of hair I needed to buy for the braids. She did not respond. I reached out via both IG and iMessage. I mentioned that if I didnt hear from her by a certain time of day before the appt that I would expect that the appointment was canceledstill no response. My scheduled appointment of 10 AM on August 30 came and went and I never heard back from her. I texted and reached out via ***** requesting a refund for my $25 deposit and she did not reply. I know its a small amount of money but I just wanted to make the Better Business Bureau aware so that other people do not get scammed. I can provide my Zelle receipt as well as the email booking confirmation. Thanks in advance for any help you are able to provide
