Ballard Designs has wonderful products and wonderful customer service. Im leaving a review today bc I had to return a small rug and they made it so easy! They leave you a return label etc and I really appreciate that. (In contrast to another company making getting a return label so difficult /made me appreciate Ballards customer care and respect for the customer ) So much so that I wanted to leave a review of how much I appreciate Ballard. My house is filled with their beautiful household items! I will always shop at Ballard bc they make me feel valued as a customer.Review from Patricia G

DO NOT BUY FROM BALLARD DESIGNS. THIS IS A VERY SHADY OPERATION. I HAVE BEEN ATTEMPTING TO GET A TABLE FROM THEM THAT WAS PAID FOR IN OCTOBER. KEPT SAYING IT WAS BACK ORDERED. NOW ON FEBRUARY 5 THEY SAY MY PAYMENT WAS DECLINED BUT WAS PROCESSED ON OCTOBER 18 OF LAST YEAR. THEY ARE DECEITFUL AND THEY ARE THEIVES. STAY AWAYReview from Tim S

My experience with Ballard Designs and their deliver service (*************) have been terrible. The initial order (T6805469) placed in early November 2023 arrived with damaged items as well as some items not included with the order. As of the end of January ****, I am still dealing with these issues. The customer service departments with both of these companies have not been able to resolve my issues and I have been given no timeline. I will think twice before I order from Ballard Designs again. **********Review from TAMMY B

Been dealing with a sofa order for over a year now. The delivery service/communication has been TERRIBLE. Still waiting for a refund and just wish this all would be over once and for all. I will never be ordering from Ballard Designs again.

Terrible customer service and misleading website descriptions. So frustrated! **************** is saying, Yes, I see how that can be misleading . We are sorry. Would you like to buy more to fix your problem??? Omg, no! I want what you put a picture of on your website! So angry and customer service is the worst. No accountability!Review from Wanda C

I had a disappointing experience ordering from Ballard Designs and decided to return my purchase by calling their customer service. Unfortunately, I was charged for the return, which seems unfair given that it's difficult to be sure about the appearance of an item purchased online. Overall, I am dissatisfied with Ballard Designs and would not recommend them to others.Review from Jeff H

Ballard Designs has beautiful things. But you cannot count on their delivery. The ship dates that they indicate on their web site a fiction and VERY misinforming when it comes to making purchasing decisions.I ordered several thousand dollars worth of goods from them in March that were indicated as shipping in April. No problem. In April I got a robo-note saying the items were delayed and would not ship until May... this cycle has repeated each month with the latest notice stating late August. When you call or connect with with them they are apathetic at best and rude at worst. So, regardless of their product offering, I would strongly encourage people to stay away from Ballard Designs. They are very unreliable and apathetic about having your business.Review from Bridget W

I was stunned when I saw the bad reviews for Ballard Designs. I ordered a glass top side table from them a couple of weeks ago. When I received it, the glass top did not fit. I really dreaded returning it since returning furniture can be such a hassle. I called their customer service this past Monday. They immediately offered to ship a replacement table and to expedite the shipping. They also scheduled the defective table to be picked up by **** As I said, I called them on Monday. The defective table was picked up on Wednesday and a new table delivered. AMAZING! And the new table is perfect. Nothing but praise for Ballard *****************Review from Chris W

I ordered a chair from them in June, still have not received it. I want to cancel my order and get a refund and they say thats not possible. Its a custom order and its non refundable. I told them I will refuse delivery and they said they would just keep delivering it. They said because I moved that caused the delay. Im very disappointed and disgusted with them and will never order from them again. I also will not even be home for delivery Im leaving town on Wednesday November 16,2022 until after the New Year.Review from Sandra B

Terrible customer service. Please if you can order from another source, do so. I am part of the trade program and have never had issues like I have with Ballard. Ordered 2 chairs for a customer, one leg was broken on delivery which was noted by the delivery person on his delivery report. Customer contacted me to get a replacement chair sent. They would not allow me to request a replacement....only the person it was shipped to.....totally unbelievable.
