Contract Signed June 28, 2021 Amount Paid $7,726.81.We are appalled by the business practices of Proof of the Pudding. My fianc and I are planning our wedding and out of the 15 wedding vendors that weve hired, Proof of The Pudding has been the most unprofessional. Our point of contact in the beginning was ***********************. We discussed that we plan to have a room flip during our very first in-person meeting and before our original contract was signed. The room flip was in our original contract. We met with **** and ******* 2 times since then and each time we discussed the room being flipped. Not once was it mentioned that we would be charged later for a room flip. During an email exchange regarding adding the dance floor to our contract, ******* mentioned that we would also have to pay $750 for a room flip. We were outraged because it clearly shows room flip in our contract and there was never discussion or email correspondence indicating that we would be charged extra for a room flip, so we refused the extra charge and explained why. We signed the contract over 7 months prior and have had dozens of email correspondence and 3 in-person meetings. We believe that there was an oversight that occurred when the contract was being written up by **** and ******* caught the mistake although **** NEVER told us that there would be a charge outside of what we reviewed and signed on our contract. We eventually reluctantly agreed to a reduced charge because we didnt want our big day to be ruined by this incident. When it came time for us to sign the updated contract, we noticed that we were charged for an extra bar back that we never discussed, and some of the terms of our original contract were also changed. We emailed **** and ******* asking them to explain the discrepancies and changes to our contract, but we have not heard from them since. We feel taken advantage of and believe that the business practices of this company are deceptive.
