I recently was accepted into a covid 19 vaccine study through Autocruitment. I was to receive a new covid vaccine on Feb 06 2024 and would receive a survey to fill out and then would be paid an incentive of $50. I received this vaccine and did the first survey and when I was sent the 2nd survey I quickly filled it out and submitted it qnd then a message popped up saying that they have already met their quota for this vaccine. I have been in contact with Autocruitment and they keep saying they are going to contact their client to get me my incentive that I have not received for getting the vaccine. How can they have met their quota when they only accept a certain amount of participants for a study..so I should of been well inside the quota. I was told that I would receive $50 for getting the vaccine and now all of the sudden they stop replying to my emails when I keep asking them about this. It's not right that I signed up and was accepted into this study and got the vaccine like they required and now they are ignoring me and not wanting to send Me my payment.

We have investigated this individuals complaint and have determined that if he did not receive compensation and he was supposed to receive compensation, he should reach out directly to the research organization which he contracted with for the clinical research.

AutoCruitment provides potential participants with a clinical trial/research matching service.  When a potential participant responds to an advertisement, they are directed to an AutoCruitment webpage, where that individual can populate an online screener, providing information to AutoCruitment about his/herself and consent to being potentially matched to any clinical trial AutoCruitment is recruiting patients for.  In this instance, Mr. ****** was directed from an AutoCruitment webpage and he consented to AutoCruitments clinical trial/research matching services.

AutoCruitment subsequently matched and referred Mr. ****** to a research study.  For client confidentiality purposes, AutoCruitment cannot share with the Better Business Bureau who AutoCruitments client is.   At such time, Mr. ****** was presented with a clinical research survey consent.  This consent was to a client-sponsored research survey; AutoCruitment was not the organization who developed the informed consent, nor was a party to the informed consent.  AutoCruitment was simply the party who provided clinical research matching service.

Within the consent, AutoCruitments client (rather than AutoCruitment), offered compensation for completion of their research survey.  Several steps were to occur, and specific requirements were to be met in order to receive the compensation from AutoCruitments client.

Upon receipt of Mr. ******* complaint, AutoCruitment passed along Mr. ******* concern to its client.  AutoCruitment has not received a response as its clients disposition of the complaint.   AutoCruitments role in relaying Mr. ******* complaint to its client was just to provide good service to the individual who had received a clinical trial matching service from AutoCruitment.  However, the complaint that Mr. ****** raises stems from an agreement Mr. ****** has with AutoCruitments client, not with AutoCruitment.

AutoCruitment recommends that Mr. ****** reach out to AutoCruitments client directly.  Within the research survey consent, there is an email address that he can contact to seek assistance directly.

Please let us know if you have any further questions.

      Best,

      *******

I am rejecting this response because: I've been in contact with autocruitment and they are the ones that disperse the funds from I'm told. however I've done everything I was supposed and still have not been paid.

      Sincerely,

      ****** ******

Dear Mr. ****** and the Better Business Bureau,

AutoCruitment does not make payments to any potential participant for this study, or any study for which it is contracted to recruit participants.  Any and all payments made to potential participants are made by AutoCruitment's clients directly to the potential participant in accordance with the terms of the Informed Consent Form signed between the potential participant and AutoCruitment's client.

Additionally, all communications between AutoCruitment and Mr. ****** have been reviewed.  In none of those communications does AutoCruitment incorrectly state that it makes payments to potential participants.

As previously indicated, Mr. ****** will need to speak with AutoCruitment's client directly to confirm why payment has not been made.  Mr. ****** should review his signed Informed Consent Form between himself and AutoCruitment's client for the contact information.

      Thank you,

Autocruitment posted ad(s) on Instagram saying they would pay a $50.00 prepaid **** card to get a COVID vaccine or booster within 1 week. It asked what date I would get the vaccine and I said Dec. 18, 2023. So after I got it, a non response email sent the expected survey, which I submitted. It replied that the payment would be sent in 5 days. It never arrived and I was put off twice when I contacted them by email over $50 for something so invasive.

This study was conducted by AutoCruitment on behalf of its client.  AutoCruitment and its client monitored the individuals who completed the survey to ensure individuals were not completing the survey multiple times.  An individual was only *********** complete the survey once per person because the requirement for completing the survey and receiving the gift card was obtaining a Covid vaccine; each individual can only receive a single Covid vaccine, so any attempts to submit multiple surveys would be fraudulent.

After review of AutoCruitment's records, it appears that this individual may have attempted to complete the survey multiple times under a variety of different email accounts (both Yahoo and ****** Mail).  AutoCruitment's records show that a gift card was sent from its client's system to the email address: ***********************.  The other email addresses utilized to attempt to complete the survey multiple times by the same person, would have been prevented from receiving multiple gift cards.
