We contacted Atlanta Experts Locksmith on May 24th, 2022 to regain access to our mailbox for which we had lost our key. My wife was in touch with Atlanta Experts Locksmith who informed us that a service provider would be in touch with us shortly. She then received a call from a man letting her know that he would be able to make it out to our house around 1:00 PM, which was then adjusted to 1:40 PM, and that the job would cost $120. At 1:45 PM the service provider arrived at our complex and I met him by our mailbox. Over the course of approximately an hour and a half, he proceeded to effectively destroy our mailbox. He used drills and other tools to break the box open which heavily damaged the cover of the box and, when he managed to break the lock in half, he replaced it with the incorrect lock. In order to make the lock fit, he destroyed an inner portion of the door meant to hold the lock. When he was satisfied, he informed me that it would be $150 for the service and asked how I would be paying. I asked if he took card to which he said no and asked if I had Zelle. I asked if he took Venmo or check and he told me he was unable to take those forms of payment. I finally managed to pay him via Zelle to a third party phone number by the name of "***** ********". Before he left, I tested the lock which did not work. He further damaged the lock and was happy once the lock turned although the lock no longer actually locks the door. Since then, we called to inform the company of the poor job. They have provided very little communication including multiple times in which they hung up the phone on us. On their end, they said that the job was not complete. As we found out, that is likely because one of their actual locksmiths called a friend, who showed up at our house presenting as a locksmith, to complete the job. Even after informing the company of what has occurred, they continue to effectively say "sorry that's not our problem as that person does not work for us."
