I bought 85 bags of their pea gravel from 2 diff.lowes in n.c.Between both stores at least half of the bags arrived damaged,ripped and mostly emptied from ineffective packing material Some bags (unopened)had 1/3 to 1/2 less gravel than the others.some bags contained giant rocks instead of gravel (severely)shorting **** contacted quikret and received a response asking me to send him lot nos.on all bags.i told him I saved one bag with companies contact info the rest were trashed.So I took pix of that, I had other pictures of the difference in the amount of gravel in different bags, I also have video which I sent him. I heard nothing I emailed him two more times the third time my email came back he blocked me. So then I sent him an email from another address I have and heard nothing, these bags cost 8.88 each so well over $600.00 At least half had damaged packaging ,shorted product in bags and others filled with giant rocks instead of pea gravel. On Friday, January 5, 2024, just before 12:00pm, I was traveling on 10 Eastbound Freeway from ******* (Roughly close to ********, **) going home to **********. I was heading home after going to ******* due to my Dad was in ******* for Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer and he passed away 4:00am that morning. I was in the # 2 lane and one of their trucks (I believe was from the ********/ ******* location) was in the #3 lane. He was passing me and the back of the truck was parallel to the passenger front tire. The truck was not secured where there was no tarp on it, a rock flew out of the truck and it cracked my driver side windshield. Which, in December 2022, I just got the full windshield replaced (sent the Company the paperwork and pictures on Monday 01/08/24 and they re-routed it to the ********/*******, Az Location). When I finally spoke to the Person who handles these situations (took close to 2 weeks) she was very rude and wanted me to use my Insurance. I didnt and wanted me to use my insurance, then, decided to check the Manager and see what they say about this claim. On January 30, 2024, she (******** and the same woman who was rude) stated her ****** said Good morning,I spoke with my manager regarding your windshield. He checked the trailer to make sure the gates dont leak and the truck tarp was closed. He said that we do not replace windshields that are broken from road debris. . Which is NOT true and there was only one person which is the driver in that truck. I want them and THEY NEED TOO REPLACE MY WINDSHIELD! They damaged it and I just let my dad who just passed and there truck and driver damaged my Windshield!!!Initial Complaint

We are a hardscape contractor and On 10/15/21 We filed a complaint against one of your companies (Oberfields) for defective pavers. The field rep at the time **** exchanged those pavers with new pavers which were also defective. We were forced to use those pavers due to project time constraints, although we were not happy with the overall quality. In the original complaint we asked for a refund for the layers of unused pavers even if they were not a complete layer due to all the issues we incurred. ****** manager (who remained anonymous) said **** would reach out and take care of this on 11/19/21. On 12/14/21 we returned the layer to our distributor (***** ****** and they are waiting to receive the credit for the pavers we returned in order for us to receive our credit. Currently no one is responding with a credit from Oberfields and we would like corporate to step in and escalate this matter. We are working on designing more patios projects and need to know if Quikcrete/Oberfields supports its installers or not?
