      This company is the worst. To get a card I had to do a $200 deposit and they gave me a $600 dollar credit card to use, with $200 of that being my money. I paid my card on time. I didn't use the card for a month and was sent a invoice for $75 for a late fee. I called and asked why well they started charging $25 a month fee to use the card. I told them i no longer wanted it. I spoke to a representative she credited me the money back. So 2 months later i decided I no longer needed the service. I was told I would receive my $200 deposit back. I have been calling for over a year. Still no money back. I spoke to ***** still nothing. I have called at least 4 different times. Also recorded a conversation with them still NO CHECK!!!!!!!!!! I will call today and record it again and listen to the lies. I was told in Jan 17, 2024 it was sent must have been sent via the sea because I still don't have it. They had no issue taking it out of my account Why is it so hard to give me MY money back. Mind you i have a $52 credit I can't get back they said. I just want what is MINE!! Please they are scammers and thieves.

      THEY HAVE THE WORST SERVICE- I MADE A PAYMENT OVER THE ***** -RECEIVED A ****IRMATION # -THE NEXT MONTH THERE WAS LATE **** AND AT RISK CHARGE SUPERVISOR SAID HOW STRANGE THE PAYMENT WAS NEVER INPUTED BUT THE **** # MATCHES - THIS WAS OVER A YEAR AGO - EVERY SINCE EVERY BILL I SEE A LATE FEE AND AT RISK CHARGE - I CALL SPEAK TO A SUPERVISOR AND THEY WILL TAKE CARE OF IT - NOTHING WAS EVER DONE - NOW THEY SAY TO PAY THE **** AND THEY WILL SEE IF IT CAN BE CREDITED - DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS FUEL COMPANY I AM IN THE PROCESS TO CHANGEING .       They have horrible customer service. Changed our payment method from net 30 to net 10 without notifying us. Locked our cards and after a full day of back and forth with them we still don't have access. We are public school district and pay on time every month. Had the terms not changed, we would not have been late. They can't tell me how the terms got changed but they are willing to change them back, but no one can unlock the cards until they receive payment. We will probably look at going back to buying our fuel in bulk.

      Was just informed by FleetCor representative that the late charges applied on the account for past due payment also includes the current period transactions that are not yet late. According to them, this is in the fine print of what the company may have signed for years ago when the account was opened. In my opinion, this is an unethical practice and should not be allowed, even if they have the language buried in the agreement. My preference would have been to select a zero rating, however the star rating does not allow for that - but my true rating is zero.

      Our company used Universal Premium Fleet Card almost 7 years ago. WE stopped using them because of their billing issues, fee's when you are not late, fees to have the card. No all of a sudden, we get a bill for $1,318.31 a month ago. I called them they said it is a glitch in their billing system and to ignore the bill. Since we did not owe them anything I let it go. Then we got another bill the next month, and for a different amount. They said the same thing, I told the lady on the phone this is not right and straight-out deception. This company is hoping people will pay these bills I think, A good fraud technique to build up cash in their bank. I am sure a lot of companies just pay the bill. They are a fraud company and needs to be stopped. I am not sure what governing section is responsible for researching them? Hope they do so soon.

      I wouldn't recommend using this company for any small business. I wish I had read most of the reviews from this page before partnering with them. They have hit us with so many late charges over the last 6 months or so. They changed our net 7 terms agreement to 4 during the holidays and did not notify us of the change. We originally reported an issue in September but were never told why this 4-day payment date kept happening until 12/25/2023. Every time I called prior they would *********** it back and repeat the fees, etc. If you are a small business, information needs to be solid. If you are changing your customer's due date, you should go out of your way to notify them of the change. A good place to start would be to update your site to alert them of a payment being past due. In the end, all I can say is, if you are trying to build, they are not a good resource. I am learning there are other options for fleet cards.

      Believe it or not, this was resolved a few months back, but still continues to happen. I have contacted Fuelman several times of the last 3 months with this same issue. I keep being told it will be fixed and it is, but then it happens again every other weekly bill. This a lot of work to manage. I still wouldn't recommend this company to anyone else.

      This has been an atrocious experience for my small business. I wish I had done this one simple ****** review prior to enrolling. I hate that I let so much pass without investigating. Similar to nearly all other responses on this page, they are predatory with their fees and late charges. There are no vendors in construction with Net 10??! Our payments were paid on time or a day or two late- simply because our office manager works part time. Fuelman told me the accounts are reviewed by a rep every 90 days. So a rep looked at our account and thought, well, they have paid every *****, but sometimes it's one or two days late.... let's charge them over $3500 in late fees and finance charges. I was on the phone with them yesterday trying to understand the $5000 total in late fees PLUS fuel surcharges that I finally had in front of me.... I kept saying to *******, this isn't right, 10 days isn't enough for a small company to process payables, why does one day cost us $1000? FINALLY after 75 minutes, ******* said to me.... well, we can ask the credit department if you can get Net 21!! WHATTTTT? That's an option?? So whomever was "personally" reviewing the account every 90 days sees that our payments are only a day or two late occassionally and they didn't change the payment terms? The supervisor told me that after reviewing my account they did end up changing our payment terms.... They changed it to Net 7!!! They saw that we weren't on time with 10 and changed it to 7! "Well, we did send a letter" It's predatory and abusive. I am disgusted a company like this is allowed to be in business and prey on people, but sadly, I am more disguested in myself for not vetting a business partner and ensuring our payments were valid from the start. We have 8 vehicle cards and would spend about $4k/month.

      Robbery run, run, run. They make it hard to pay but fast to put up ridiculous late fees as high as the amount charged during the month. Do yourself a favor and be smarter then me and check all the reviews. They need to be run out of business.

      I had fleetcor speedway for a while never late on any of my invoice until I ended up having a major truck repair and ended in the hospital sick with Covid for a week in 1/2 and I explained to fleetcor what happened and they can work with me on a resolution and the only thing they offered was a payment plan with the late added fees that was a lil more than 1000$ I did pay every thing which was **** plus the ***** on late fee that equal to over 4,000$ after I paid everything they still had the nerve to charge me 15 extra Im like for what if the account is locked all I can say is that is the worst company to deal with stay far far away I called them to completely close my account and the keep giving me the run around I contacted my lawyer so he iis familiar with cases like this and now just waiting to hear back from fleetcor.

      I think this company should be closed and some of the people that work there put in jail. I never never ever seen a company that was so bad. Much stress dealing with them. The sales department great service but billing and speaking with a live person was bad. I've called hundreds of times and can't get through. If the billing and pay portal was better it may have worked. The left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing.
