I paid for a hotel room with Priceline July 2nd 2022 in ******** ***** at the Hampton Inn, the day before my reservation I got really really sick so I called Priceline and canceled my reservation, I paid approximately $214.49 for one night and I also purchased trip protection, well to my surprise and disappointment I was not reimbursed, I was not offered another night, all they did was take my money and didn't even apologize biggest con out there what a rip off, it was like I took $214threw threw it out the window of my car driving down the interstate what a rip off and I purchased trip protection just so this wouldn't happen, they don't care once they have your money they don't care, very upset customer come on what's fair is fair I work hard for my money and I did not even step foot on your property and I took all the precautions so this would not happen and you still ripped me off!!!!!!!!Initial Complaint

This is second compliant through BBB in regards to PrimeSport business practices and promises. PrimeSport offered us a credit to buy ****** tickets at any track they conducted business with. On Tuesday, December 15, 2020 10:09 AM Primesport agreed to refunded our $508 towards ****** tickets as long as the tickets were purchase in the year of 2021 by Dec 25. We made it a point to ask before we excepted the refund if we could apply the credit to ****** tickets instead of another package and they emailed us and assured us we could use credit towards tickets not packages. Today Oct 11,2021 we ask to about tickets at ********************* and they said no they couldn't apply our credit towards ticket only packages. As I said I have emails confirm that Primesport said we could apply out credit to *********************Customer response

PrimeSport is partners with **************** and we are 100% able to provide package inclusions purchased by customer. Customer did reach out in July to inquire about cancelling his reservation and we responded to customer with his options/purchase policy. Unfortunately, since Daytona 500 is still scheduled to proceed, purchased travel package is still governed by our Purchase Policy. Per our Purchase Policy, all sales are final, non-refundable, and non-transferable. We understand these are unprecedented times and have refunded customer final payment that was made towards package. We have also offered customer a credit for a future ****** event and customer has accepted. We informed the customer that he is welcome to apply the credit to any ****** package we offer, https://www.primesport.com/s/nascar and unfortunately do not have access to Brake pad package directly or listed for sell . We provided him with a list of options for Martinsville fall race to purchase and advise him to call customer support and we would be happy to move your credit into a package that is offer on our website .Customer response

Prime Sports stated in email that was attached in first filing to BBB that they would allow us to purchase tickets not a package. We precisely ask to purchase tickets at their trucks they offered. The email clearly has them responded with yes you may use your credit towards tickets
