    I accepted an invitation to join ************************* and *********************** in ******* to celebrate their birthdays. The trip was scheduled for Feb. ****th. I paid $1199.00 via Zelle with a $150.00 non-refundable deposit. Due to COVID restrictions, ************************* cancelled then rescheduled the trip. Because I had previous commitments, I was unable to travel. So, I followed directions by informing in writing of my inability to travel and requested a refund.************************* responded and promised he would send my refund, but to date he has not. I am including his responses. (Feb 1) "Hi ********,I am waiting on the vendors in ******* to send the funds back to me. This should happen within the next few days or next week hopefully. As soon as it comes I will send it to you.Sorry about that.******* (7/14) "Hi ********,I am so sorry for the delay. Yes, you will receive your full refund (less the $150 deposit) on or before Aug 24th - the day we arrive in *******.The package was $1199.00. The total amount to you will be $1049.00. In good faith, I may be able to send you half this month and the rest next month.Thank you for your patience as I've had to deal with getting this back from the people in *******.*******""Hi ********,I saw your call come in however I'm not in a position to answer calls. ******* is absolutely correct about how I conduct business since she has been doing business with me for a few years. ... Let me first apologize for not being able to refund you in a timely manner.I realize its the holidays as well and people need their money. All I can assure you is that I will be refunding you as promised (in writing). When? I don't know however we are not talking years or even months.*******"I have patiently waited for ************************* to honor his word, especially since he is a young entrepreneur. I am even reluctant to submit this complaint but I do not want to wait any longer because I believe he has no plans to return my money.Thank you.

    This individual is is not honest and has taken our money without cause. His name is ************************* and he was listed under Two Oceans Travel and Tours who I paid my money to. Now he is under the name of Black Travel Expo. I paid for a trip in full and ************** cancelled due to some covid restrictions at the time. When he decided to go forth with the trip, I was not able to go at that particular time. ************** kept the deposit (******) which was understandable. However, he has promised numerous times to refund the balance of my money but as of today, he has not responded to any communications when I have tried to reach out to him. He sent an email to another traveler stating that we would start receiving our payments last week. So far, nothing and he does not communicate with us.
