Hello! Transaction date 05//19/2023. I paid $1,927.66 for custom made drapes, rod, rings and installation (or so I was told). I was never given any paperwork regarding yards of fabric, pole cost, number of rings etc, only a copy of the credit card receipt. I made an appointment to have the drapes installed and was told it would cost $219 to install. I told them I was told $1,927.66 covered everything but relented and paid an additional $219. After moving many things in my living room and waiting over an hour, the installer never showed up. I called Forsyth and they said the installer had a knee injury and couldn't come. I said at least someone could have called as I took my day off to have it done and was then told the installer had a death in the family which was a completely different story. I rescheduled the installation and moved everything again for the installer. After being more that an hour late the installer showed up. During the process of installation the installer told me there were not enough rings to hang all of the drapes. I called Forsyth and asked where the rest of the rings were and was told someone must have counted wrong. I don't know how that could happen as they sat there and figured out how much I needed of everything at the time I paid for the custom drapes. Forsyth then ordered more rings. Forsyth called and said the rings were in and I owed another $200 and something dollars and also wanted to charge me again for the installer to come out. I said I should not have to pay for more rings as I was told the $1,927.66 we agreed to at the time of purchase covered everything. Plus I had already paid for the installation fee and the installation job was not completed and only some of my drapes had been hung. This is Deceptive Trade Practices. Every time I call they want more money. I asked to speak to the owner of the store and keep getting the run around that they are not there and didn't know when they will be back etc.Initial Complaint

On 5.24.21 I paid $1654.87 to have 2 slipcovers made for a set of matching chairs. Order #*****. I dropped off 1 of the matching chairs to have 2 slipcovers made. #1 Dispute: I picked up the chair and 2 slipcovers the week of ****. I got home and removed the slipcover from the chair I'd left. The original cushion cover was missing (see pic 1). I contacted Forsyth Fabric on **** and sent pics. No return call. I called on **** and 8.2; no reply. On 8.3 I received a reply text stating they were working to find the missing cushion cover. The cover was not found. FF offered to make a new cover w/ matching fabric which was acceptable. I drove to FF; spent 2.5 hours w/ staff to find a matching fabric. We couldn't find a matching fabric. The only solution was to recover both chairs in new fabric. FF refused. I compromised and offered to pay to have 1 chair covered and the owner agreed to pay for the other. I was quoted $906.95 on the phone on ****. On **** I drove to FF to drop off 2 chairs to be recovered. Upon arrival I was told that I'd have to pay an additional $366 for the nailheads. I offered to pay the nailheads for only 1 chair. The owner refused. I paid it because other customers were waiting. I emailed on **** requesting a $183 refund for the 2nd chair nailheads. No reply. Chairs ready in 6 weeks. Dispute #2: 13 weeks later, I picked chairs up (*****). At home I found 1 of the cushions original inside cover had been removed and the cushion was filled w/ batting (pic 2&3-correct inside). The chairs should have been returned w/ the original contained cushion in tact so I can take the slipcovers on/off w/o stuffing going everywhere. I called on ***** to state that the inner cushion cover should be returned/replaced. On ***** the owner refused to replace the inner cushion cover w/o a charge. I requested the $183 refund. She argued w/me; no resolution.Request: $183 refund + add'l $75 for me to have the inner cushion repaired elsewhere. Total refund $258Customer response
