On Tuesday, January 31, 2023, I paid $350.00 to the said funeral home to receive virtual service (live stream service). My brother is in a Georgia State Prison and his fiance passed away, he was not able to attend the services. The monies were paid for the services which were scheduled on Friday, February 3, 2023. We received a phone call from the prison (******* *********************** *************** during and after the services stating that the live feed was not working and it was buffering very badly. After the burial was completed I approached ********, the funeral director, and informed him about my issue, he stated that the feed was fine at the chapel; which was not paid for the people to view at the chapel only my brother at the prison. He then stated that he would have to reach out to the videographer to find out what happened and he would give us a callback. I contacted ******************** on Tuesday, February 7, 2023, and spoke with ****** and explained in detail about this matter, he stated ******************** would be the person responsible to resolve the matter he wasn't in and he would give him the message. As of today, Friday, February 10, 2023, I did not receive a phone call back from this establishment. My wife (**************************************) reached out to ******************** to inquire follow up with the videographer, he told my wife that he still needed to contact the videographer concerning the matter and asked if we were expecting our money back. My wife stated that something needed to be done because we did not receive the services (he wasn't able to view the live stream of his fiance) that we paid for, again he kept saying he would contact the videographer and give us a callback. This establishment does not seem to be concerned about our issue and keeps saying things just to get rid of us.Business response

In response to Complaint ********, there is some confusion as to what Funeral Home was hired to handle the funeral service in question. ********************************* Funeral Directors, **** was never hired to preform any services for the funeral of ***************************** the decedent. ****************** Funeral Home of ******* ******* was the funeral home employed by the family to service them. *************************** is the funeral director in full and continuous charge of that establishment and with whom the family made the arrangements. *********** was held in the chapel of *********************************, rented by ****************** Funeral Home for the service only due to the location of the family and the distance of the ****************** Funeral Home in *******, **. ********************************* Funeral Directors had no involvement with the arrangements or the conducting of the funeral service. This matter should be taken up with ****************** Funeral Home, *************************** the funeral director @************ or email at *********************. ********************************* only rented the space of the chapel to ****************** Funeral Home
